Famed nature show host David Attenborough returns with a three-part series about how color plays a role in the biology and evolution of animals. Colors can be used for camouflage, to scare off predators, or to help win mates. The series used specially-developed cameras in order to reveal what other animals see from their perspective. On Netflix now.

This eclectic comedy series is made from public domain films, recut by indie filmmakers to amuse and tell new stories. Each episode features dialogue dubbed by actors and comedians, including Nick Offerman, Nicole Byer, Aubrey Plaza, Fred Armisen, Alison Brie, and more. The full season is available now on Showtime.

Patton Oswalt stars in and co-created this limited-run animated series based on Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. (Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing). The show offers a fresh take on the freakish villain as he deals with a crumbling marriage and bankruptcy after years of losing against our heroes. Premieres 5.21.2021 on Hulu.

In his new Disney+ series, Tom Hiddleston portrays an alternative-universe version of Loki who managed to evade capture by the Avengers. But this Loki finds himself arrested by the Time Variance Authority, where he is recruited to help stop the very threats he created by stealing the Tesseract. Premieres 6.11.2021.

Rick and Morty are back and ready for more multidimensional mayhem, with a new season that includes a creepy ocean man who rides on a sled made of sea creatures, killer robots, insect kaiju, futuristic ziplining, and more. Premieres 6.20.2021 on Adult Swim, with seasons 1 through 4 now on HBO Max.

Taking place immediately after the Clone War, this animated series follows the story of an elite squad of clones who possess special abilities. The formidable group of soldiers hire themselves out on dangerous missions, and draw the ire of the Empire. Premieres on Disney+ on 5.4.2021, with new episodes on Fridays.

(PG-13) Writer/director James Gunn takes a moment away from his Guardians of the Galaxy gang to assemble another crew of misfits, only this time they’re the deranged members of DC’s Suicide Squad, a shady collection of baddies who will self-destruct if they misbehave while on missions. In theaters and on HBO Max 8.6.2021.

(Spoilers) By the time we finished watching WandaVision, we were in love with the series. But, like many of you, we were perplexed by the first couple of episodes, and didn’t know where the journey might take us. Screen Junkies offers their take on the emotional rollercoaster that has us very excited for MCU Phase 4.

The latest movie from Disney and Pixar follows the story of a boy who starts making new friends in a seaside town in Italy. But it turns out that he’s really a sea monster who’s take on a human form. The fish-out-of-water-who-wants-to-live-with-humans story sounds a bit like another Disney flick, The Little Mermaid.

Writer/director Zack Snyder is behind this movie about a group of mercenaries (led by Dave Bautista) who venture to the Las Vegas Strip to pull off a massive heist. The big problem: it’s the middle of the zombie apocalypse. Oceans Eleven meets Dawn of the Dead hits Netflix on 5.21.2021.

(PG-13: Language) Korvo, Yumyulack, Terry, Jesse, and the Pupa are back and causing more mayhem than ever in season two of Solar Opposites. If you didn’t get to watch season one of Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan’s hilariously warped animated series, now’s a great time to do it with the second season hitting Hulu on 3.26.2021.

We just looked it up on IMDb, and The Simpsons has been on the air for more than 31 years. Along the way, they’ve had their ups and downs, and in 2007, even had their own feature film. Screen Junkies offers their cynical take on the movie, which is now almost old enough to drive. Also, we are so down for Spider-Pig 3.

Napoleon Dynamite is one of our favorite movies of all time. But if you take its quirky characters out of context and combine their actions with the appropriate music, this cult classic comedy quickly becomes a freaky horror flick. Tobias Conrad performed the editorial surgery needed to give us just that movie.

The evil, puppy-hating villain of 101 Dalmatians must have gotten her start somewhere. Emma Stone stars as a young Miss Cruella de Vil as she rises from a mischievous grifter to downright wicked member of London society. Emma Stone stars and Craig Gillespie (I Tonya) directed this live-action Disney origin story.

In the days before Pixar became king, Disney was struggling to keep its animation fresh and relevant. Screen Junkies looks back with equal parts fondness and snark about the 2002 flick Lilo & Stitch, a surprisingly unconventional movie about a little girl and her blue dog that’s actually a gross and violent alien.

JKK Films was watching the trailer for Godzilla vs. Kong and thought there just wasn’t enough action. To amp things up, he added a third monster to the battles, his cat Wayne. Given the destructive tendency of kitties, Wayne appears to be the perfect casting decision.

Director Zack Snyder is finally releasing the Justice League he wanted to make. This trailer sees Batman rallying his fellow metahumans after a premonition of a terrifying threat to Earth, and teases new footage, including more screen time for Cyborg, baddie Darkseid, and the return of Joker.
