The new Land Cruiser marks a return to form. The US-bound SUV will start in the mid-$50K range. It’s shorter and narrower than before, has a 2.4L turbo hybrid drivetrain with 326 hp and 465 lb-ft. of torque, and available multi-terrain modes for off-road fun. Every 2024 Land Cruiser has full-time 4WD, a locking rear diff, and a choice of round or rectangular headlights.
Toyota will offer the 2024 Land Cruiser in three grades: the Land Cruiser 1958, the Land Cruiser, and a 2024 Land Cruiser First Edition - the latter being limited to just 5000 vehicles. The Land Cruiser 1958 is the base model, with a Toyota heritage grille, round LED headlights, LED fog lights, fabric heated seats, an 8" multimedia display, and 6-speaker audio.
The mid-grade Land Cruiser model has rectangular LED headlights, heated/ventilated SofTex seats, color-selectable RIGID LED fog lights, multi-terrain mode selection, a 12.3" multimedia display, and 10-speaker audio. The First Edition has heritage round LED headlamps, a roof rack, a front skid plate, rock rails, and heated/ventilated leather seats.
