The recently redesigned Toyota Tacoma is particularly impressive in its Trailhunter grade, which loads the pickup with its most potent powertrain and a full array of factory-installed equipment for overlanding adventures. Its ample upgrades include a beefed-up suspension, rugged off-road tires, heavy-duty bumpers, and rock rails.

(PG-13) Each December, editor Sleepy Skunk creates an epic compilation of trailers to celebrate the year’s films. The 2024 edition includes moments from blockbusters like Deadpool vs. Wolverine, offbeat indie flicks like Hundreds of Beavers, creepy horrors like Late Night with the Devil. It also includes its share of big-budget flops like Argylle.

The ultimate factory Bronco is ready for any terrain. It’s our second time driving the Ford Bronco Raptor, and we’re just as crazy about this powerful and capable off-road SUV as before. This time, we popped the doors and roof off the Braptor for maximum open-air fun.

Now in its seventh generation, the Ford Mustang stands as the final V8-powered American muscle car. We drove this 2024 Mustang GT Fastback in the ideal configuration: a 6-speed manual, Rapid Red paint, and the GT Performance Package. The pony car is as good as ever – with fast launches, a satisfying exhaust note, great handling, and an excellent modern cabin.

We tested the electric Polaris Ranger XP Kinetic in 2022, but the setting was limited. Writer Harvey Briggs drove it at Road America’s short off-road course, surrounded by a world-class racetrack. This time, Polaris showcased not only the UTV’s off-road abilities on more organic terrain, but we also experienced the debut of Polaris’ off-road EV charging network.

After a three-year absence in the U.S., the Toyota Land Cruiser is back and marks a return to its adventurous roots in terms of style. We spent a few days getting to know the Land Cruiser First Edition and see if its performance and capabilities live up to its tough new looks.

While it shares a name with Chevy’s most popular pickup, the Silverado EV is a totally different vehicle. Riding on GM’s Ultium electric platform, the top-of-the-line RST First Edition is one of the most versatile trucks we’ve ever driven. It offers exceptional driving range, carries larger items than most pickups, and can even power your home in an emergency.

The 2024 Toyota Crown is different from other sedans. It rides higher than most and has a strong and athletic presence. The Platinum grade, which we tested, is its best-equipped and most powerful variant. It’s a spacious car with modern tech, a satisfying drivetrain, and a smooth ride, though its interior doesn’t live up to the promises of its exterior.

When the Aston Martin DBX707 debuted in 2022, its blend of undeniable performance, dynamics, and style saw it ascend to the pinnacle of the ultra-luxury sector. So much so that for 2024, the DBX707 is now the only powertrain in the British performance brand’s SUV portfolio. It has a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 with 697 hp, and zooms from 0 to 60 in 3.1 seconds.

Genesis makes some of the best luxury vehicles on the road today. The posh and stylish GV80 is currently the brand’s largest SUV, with options for two or three rows of seats. The 3.5T Prestige Signature version has a performance-oriented powertrain, an extravagant interior with high-end materials, and a wide variety of safety and convenience technology.

One of the vehicles headed to the 2024 Easter Jeep Safari is this overland-modded Grand Wagoneer. The Spearmint green SUV is lifted 1.5″, rolls on 35″ BFGoodrich mud-terrain tires, has skid plates, a WARN winch, and TYRI LED lighting. Topping off the Vacationeer is a RedTail Overland Skyloft rooftop camper that can be accessed from inside the SUV.

It’s been a few years since we drove a Range Rover Velar. Since then, Land Rover has made a few updates to the graceful SUV, including a powerful mild-hybrid drivetrain, a new, single touchscreen setup, and tweaks to its front and rear styling. It’s still one of the sleekest luxury sedans you can buy and looks just as modern as it did the day it debuted.

Sporty might not be the first word that pops into your head when you think of the Nissan Altima, but the 2.0 SR model surpassed our expectations. The top-of-the-heap for Nissan’s mid-size sedan has a zippy turbocharged engine, a performance-tuned suspension, and sport wheels. It’s no supercar, but we came away entertained after a week behind the wheel.

It’s not every day that we review a vehicle and walk away wishing we could own what we just drove. This is one of those times. The 2024 Lexus GX 550 is that good. Redesigned from top to bottom, this adventure-loving SUV is built with off-road capability, first and foremost, complemented by refined driving dynamics and a luxurious and serene environment.

Porsche expands its Macan SUV family with two battery-electric models. The Macan 4’s motors produce 402 hp and 479 lb-ft. of torque – with a 0-to-60 time of 4.9 seconds. The high-performance Macan Turbo makes 630 hp and 833 lb-ft. and does 0 to 60 in 3.1 seconds. A 100 kWh battery supports DC fast-charging from 10 to 80% in 21 minutes. Macan configurator here.

The 2024 Slingshot offers paint and graphics in slick new colors like Radar Blue Fade, Gold Rush, and Purple Lightning, new SL wheels, and audio upgrades. The ROUSH Edition is back with Brembo brakes, an excursion cover, Sparco pedal covers, and a race-style steering wheel. S and SL models still make 178 hp, while the SLR, R, and ROUSH produce 203 hp.
