Auris: Get Your Energy Back
This awesome 3D projection-mapped ad for the Toyota Auris Hybrid was made by Glue Isobar. LED, neon and filament lights were used alongside 18K and 10K projectors. Watch the making of here.

A touching commercial made by DDB New Zealand and The Sweetshop for NZ Lotteries. We had to remind ourselves that it was just an ad, and the dog didn’t actually go through all that hardship.
Therefore Productions imagine what ads would be like if they featured several products at once. Wait, don’t we already have that? What were they called again? Oh right. TV shows and movies.
It’s an ad for a printer, but the real star here is a camera. Dentsu London used a Canon 5D MkII to take beautiful stills and video of tiny drops and splashes of paint bouncing on a speaker.
Conan’s new show is just a month away, so TBS is powering up the hype train. Conan originally wanted a hype speedboat along with hype ladies in bikinis, but TBS gave him a hype blimp instead.
We wish Samsung had just shown us the actual testing process for their memory cards instead of this thinly-veiled viral ad. Unless of course this is the actual testing process. Cute puppy though!
Pssst: the City of Toronto has an Electronic Waste Program. With the help of the talented folks over at Spy Films and the hilarious collectors Chuck and Vince, the word is getting out that they want it.
Instead of featuring complex creations, Temujin Doran’s award-winning commercial for the timeless toy focuses on charm and imagination by placing simple likenesses in real-world settings.
Digital camera too confusing to use? Don’t know what to do with all those buttons and settings? Tired of viewing your pictures on their small screen? Then try the new 35mm Film Camera!
We have no idea what this ad is marketing, but whatever it is we want to buy one just to support whoever it is that commissioned this ad. It’s safe for work, although there’s a belly kissing scene.
A couple of years back, Sony had an awesome Bravia commercial with a ton of bouncy balls rolling down a hill. Nissan pays tribute with a slightly more destructive variant – bowling balls.
Inspired by 19th century French firemen, or pompier, pomparkour adds ladders to the already dangerous pastime. This particular video though is actually a viral ad for an energy drink.
How much hipster can you pack in a Honda Jazz? A lot: books, bicycles, typewriters and healthy doses of snobbery. Check out Honda Australia’s website and see what else was packed into a Jazz.
Deliver Me to Hell is a short film with plenty of blood, gore, guts (and pizza delivery?) Make your way through the interactive video for a chance to win a year worth of pizza (in New Zealand).
Old Spice is milking their concept for all its worth, but hey, we’re not complaining. The handsome and hypnotizing Isaiah Mustafa sports a fake mustache, rips it off, and then…*head explodes*
A couple of commercials advertising a cream that cools and relieves itchy groins. We don’t know what’s funnier – the commercials, or the fact that this Delicare-M cream actually exists.
This clever ad for HP Photosmart printers was shot by printing out each frame of its animation in real time. We’re amazed they didn’t jam or run out of ink. Nothing like a little movie magic.
The jingle in this old commercial for Johnson boats inadvertently turns into a hilarious anthem for men. Because if you think about it, it’s true: you’re never alone. It’s always you & your Johnson.
Old Spice Guy Isaiah Mustafa is back with another tantalizing television spot, asking all sorts of questions that women will be saying “Yes” to while us guys roll on the floor laughing. SWAN DIVE!
Everyone knows Andy Murray is good at tennis, but did you know how accurate he really is? The tricks in this ad are obviously fake, but it’s entertaining nonetheless. Tennis skeet shooting FTW!
This 2 minute Sapporo commercial from Toronto’s Crush Inc. is one part layered and suspended reality, one part peek into rich cultural history and all parts beautiful animation. (Thanks, Adam!)
A sentimental short film written and directed by Nuno Rocha for LG Portugal. We won’t say any more about it, just that even though it’s basically one long ad, it’s still well worth your time.
An entourage of hip hop hamsters explain that we can go with this or we can go with that as far as vehicles go in this amusing advert for the Kia Soul. We kinda want the other shiny vehicle in the video.
