Marketing too early can backfire. But the Discovery Network’s clever ad might just be enough to keep their upcoming event in everyone’s minds. And it’s all thanks to Snuffy, who technically, did return to the sea.

Sure, it’s just a commercial for Sony’s LED TVs, but the explosive imagery of paints flying everywhere, set to the voice of Gene Wilder’s Pure Imagination is good enough for our eyes and ears. Best watched in full screen 1080p.

We’ve seen a Newton’s cradle made out of light bulbs. This one’s made of people. Shark Helmets set it up to demonstrate the shock-absorbing capability of its motorcycle helmets. Don’t try this at home.

Holy ship. Kmart just wants you to know that if you can’t find what you’re looking for in their outlets, they can send it to you for free. Or go online and get some of that good ship on your own. Oh wait.

Wolfdog is gone, but it seems Old Spice still has its wit. Or its ad agency. This ad for its soap bar parodies classic commercial jingles and grooming products’ claims of all day freshness.

Need something to jolt your brain awake? Samsung’s epic new commercial will do just that. It is at once bad-ass and incredibly confusing. The song is Run by Kill It Kid.
