The World Without Mobile
Qualcomm envisions what the world might be like if we didn’t have our mobile gadgets. Yes, even without technology, we’d still find a way to play Angry Birds and use Twitter and Facebook – though we’re not quite sure why.

Nike hypes up Kevin Durant’s signature shoes by putting him on a summer league draft. Will Durantula’s skills be enough to get him the #1 pick? Or will the mighty Anton Barrels pull a Greg Oden on him?
For a promo for Molson Canadian, Rethink Canada left a fridge in public places in Europe. It was filled with the beer company’s products, but it required a special key to open. See how the fridge was built here.
Like fellow Japanese giant Sony, Honda lives and dies by its engineers. The company pays tribute to its most prized assets in this simple but powerful commercial. If only inventing stuff was this easy.
A cat is sick of his dull home life, when he realizes it would be so much more fun to be a dog. An entertaining and uplifting commercial for UK mobile provider O2. Though we still have absolutely no idea what it has to do with them.
Musician Chad Neidt rocks through a veritable crapton of TV commercial jingles in this One Minute Mashup. Though Barry Manilow did it better almost 40 years ago.
Rory McIlroy goes up against Jeff, aka the Golf Laboratory Computer Controlled Hitting Machine. Jeff’s mind games are on par with McIlroy’s golf skills. If he commentated on golf tourneys their ratings would skyrocket.
Marketing too early can backfire. But the Discovery Network’s clever ad might just be enough to keep their upcoming event in everyone’s minds. And it’s all thanks to Snuffy, who technically, did return to the sea.
80’s themes, energy drinks, zombies and MJ dance moves. Now that we’ve viewed this video by itinerant party planners Matinee, it’s still unclear what we’re watching, but it may be the greatest thing ever produced. (Thanks Mike!)
AlmapBBDO’s previous commercial for Getty Images used stock photographs. For this new spot, the creative studio upped the ante and used stock video footage from Getty to depict a love story.

From the discount store that’s making people ship their pants comes another great deal. Be a Kmart member and get $0.30 per gallon from partner gas stations. Now that’s some big gas savings.
Holland’s borders might be confusing, but its what’s inside those borders that matter. Its tourism board’s ad beckons hipsters, health buffs, art lovers and more. And scoffs at people who still use cars. Dutch!
Sure, it’s just a commercial for Sony’s LED TVs, but the explosive imagery of paints flying everywhere, set to the voice of Gene Wilder’s Pure Imagination is good enough for our eyes and ears. Best watched in full screen 1080p.
A short proflie on Michael Chernow, owner of The Meatball Shop restaurants. It’s also an ad for Mr. Porter, but at least it’s one that provides inspiration and proof of where determination and discipline can get you.
Because Rhett and Link enjoy local late-night commercials, they created this one for Arlen Transmission in Burbank. It features Goorgen, the singing mechanic. Satisfaction guaranteed.
