A man grows jealous of his Facebook friends and decides to work on his life. His online life. Director Shaun Higton’s tragic comedy reminds us not to compare ourselves to or seek validation from other people.

We love the street art-inspired style in David Barlow-Krelina’s animated short, which shows us what happens when you sneeze really, really, really, really hard. Dude, cover your face the next time you do that.

An old man has a doozy of a computer problem. If the surreal humor seems familiar, you must be a fan of The Perry Bible Fellowship. Peter’s Computer was made by Big Play Films, which was founded by PBF creator Nicolas Gurewitch.

StoryCorps shares the fortitude of Bryan Wilmouth. As a teenager, Bryan’s father kicked him out of the house for being gay. Despite being estranged, Bryan made sure to look out for his seven younger siblings as they grew older.

This wonderfully animated CGI short film by Daniel Haughton in which all of the characters and environments appear to have been made from pieces of plain white paper gives us a glimpse into life at the bottom of a recycling bin.

Michelangelo and Abraham Lincoln star in History Cops. This puntastic animated short was made to promote the Blu-ray and DVD release of The LEGO Movie. “I release you from the shackles of freedom.” Yaaaay – what?

Writing for the New York Times, director Jerome Thelia said, “As soon as I saw a photograph of an African soccer ball, stitched together from old rags in the geometric patterns so familiar to us, I wanted to tell its story.”

(Gore) Two cops rescue a winged child in this animated short by Studio Ghibli co-founder Hayao Miyazaki. Released in 1995, Miyazaki made it for rock duo Chage & Aska, who used it as the video for their song On Your Mark.
