RJ Anderson takes the third version of UTVUnderground and Holz Racing’s souped up Polaris RZR XP Turbo through Ohio’s old steel mills, factories and train yards. The 1500lb. XP1K3 has a turbocharged 200hp engine, Walker Evans shocks and Holz’s invincible suspension.

This over-the-top custom 4×4 has an incredibly articulate suspension, which allows it to crawl and drive over just about any terrain, including wildly irregular surfaces. Under the hood is a 5.0 V8 from a 1993 Ford Mustang.

The Maverick X ds can be equipped with a turbocharged engine that delivers 121hp and 96lb.ft. of torque, making it the most powerful stock UTV. It also has new independent rear suspension and CVT with better airflow.

To demonstrate the abilities of the 2015 Cherokee, Jeep sent unsuspecting drivers in downtown Vancouver through a street they dressed to look like a mountainous off-road path, complete with boulders, a stream, and wolves.

During a Formula Offroad event in Iceland, driver Ingólfur Guðvarðarson’s steering wheel decided to quick-release right in the middle of a hill climb. He lost control of the car, but fortunately both he and his sturdy car were okay.

Designed to handle the wettest and muddiest off-road courses you can throw at it, this rugged two-seat ATV is powered by a 101hp, 976cc V-Twin engine, and rides atop an air-control suspension system and 30-inch tires.

Polaris’ utility ATV has Terrain Armor tires – non-pneumatic/airless tires similar to the ones made by Resilient Technologies. It also has a 77hp engine, all-wheel drive, 600lb. load capacity and a winch that can tow up to 3,000lb.

Pro-X driver Kata Karenina doesn’t seem the least bit worried that the inside of her 4×4 has filled up with muddy water, as she hits an impasse in the Russia Rainforest Challenge. She says: “I’m up to my ears in sh*t, but I’m happy.”

The 2014 Polaris RZR XP1000 UTV starts out impressive, but the guys at UTVUnderground and Mad Media worked with a team of experts to create a badass ride capable of amazing off-road feats with driver RJ Anderson at the helm.

What happens when you let AMG have their way with a Mercedes-Benz G63 4×4? This. An 8300lb., 6-wheeled beast, with 37-inch wheels, and a 5.5L twin-turbo V8 with 536hp and 560 lb-ft of torque.

This unique baha buggy from Bilstein and Strategic Racing Designs runs on pure electric power, and a pair of WarP motors generating 400 horses, and a whopping 600 lb-ft of torque for off-road mayhem.

Combining the looks of an old Jeep Wrangler with a Toyota FJ Cruiser and the DNA of the Ford Bronco, we’d love to see the water-safe Troller TR-X 4×4 (t)rolling off-road outside of its native Brazil.

Combines the thrills of off-road racing with rally car styling, improved handling and safety upgrades. You’ll need to start with a Yamaha YFZ450 ATV, then purchase the kit to do the conversion.

This Russian off-road vehicle can drive across just about any terrain, and even floats on water. Its soft tires can even run over a person without injury. And yes, it’s polar bear resistant.
