Subaru recently asked rally driver Mark Higgins to perform an insane stunt – driving a WRX STI down (and up) the Olympic bobsled run in St. Moritz. Along the way, the car took a few bumps and scrapes, but the driving was top-notch given the extremely tight course.

We may be big fans of the latest-gen Mazda Miata, but we’ve never driven one with a 532 hp stuffed under the hood. DRIVETRIBE editor Henry Catchpole went for a ride in one of Flyin’ Miata’s heavily-modded roadsters, which packs a 6.2-liter Chevy LS3 V8 engine.

Jaguar’s upcoming all-electric crossover, the I-PACE Concept was recently set loose on the streets of London, tooling around the Olympic Park area in a sexy fire-engine red paint. The 400 hp, 220 mile range, AWD EV will go into production in 2018.

The first two of 80 Regeras. Built to their owners’ requests, the first one has a green tinted clear coat with brown leather interior, while the second one has a red and black body with black leather interior. Both vehicles have hollow carbon fiber wheels.

If given the choice between the EM50 Urban Assault Vehicle and the Action Mobil Globecruiser 7500, we’d go with this one. This mobile home has a 532 hp engine, an off-road capable 6×6 drivetrain, plentiful interior space, and even has a motorcycle dock out back.

Our friends at DriveWithDave experienced the exotic and expensive Alfa Romeo GTC. Top up or down, the car is simply beautiful. Buttery smooth shifts are easy to match without a glance at the tach, and that Italian engine noise is much closer to your ears in this cabriolet.

The Mint 400 is called The Great American Off-Road Race. To make the experience even better, Toyota helped us turn it into an awesome off-road road trip and adventure ending up in Las Vegas. We queued up Fear and Loathing and hit the road for an amazing weekend adventure.

The Yellow Bird returns with a carbon fiber monocoque designed by RUF itself. The rear-mounted twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six Porsche engine produces up to 700hp and 649lbft of torque. At 3.5lb per hp, it goes from 0 to 62mph at a blistering 3.5s.

A four-door offshoot of the AMG GT-R. And it’s a hybrid. On paper, it seems like the folks at Mercedes-AMG have lost their minds, but in this case, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. A twin-turbo 4L V8 and an electric motor combine to give this AWD up to 805 hp.

The latest version of the 911 GT3 now comes with either the usual 7-speed PDK or a 6-speed manual transmission. Its 4L flat-six produces up to 500 hp and 339 lb-ft. of torque, while its redesigned front and rear help it create up to 20% more downforce than its predecessor.

Good Bad News everyone! The production version of the new Civic Type-R is almost exactly the same as its prototype. It’s still front-wheel drive, it still looks over-the-top, and it’s still coming to the US. Its 2L turbocharged VTEC produces up to 306hp and 295lb.ft. of torque.

A dramatically styled 2-seat convertible concept from the British luxury automaker, with a fully-electric drivetrain, a bold backlit grille, and an extravagant interior featuring a curved glass console with an OLED display, and an aircraft-inspired “U”-shaped steering wheel.

McLaren’s newest Super Series is powered by a 4L twin-scroll turbocharged V8 that produces up to 710 hp and 568 lb-ft. of torque. It has an improved version of the P1’s carbon fiber monocoque and massive, yet discreet air channels sandwiched in the door panels.

Pure Cycles’ Volta packs a lot of tech in an unassuming package. Its rear-mounted motor gets up to 40mi per charge and has three modes. The bicycle also has automatic lights, regenerative braking and integrated GPS.
