Sony turned up at CES 2020 with a surprise – a concept car. The Vision-S is designed as a demonstration platform for in-car technologies, from autonomy and safety systems, to entertainment and comfort. The car packs dozens of sensors, multiple widescreen displays, 360º surround audio, and runs on an all-new EV platform.

Sony’s flagship phone has a 6.5″, ultrawide 21:9 OLED display with 3840×1644 resolution. It packs an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, and captures brilliant images with its 12.0MP triple lens camera that can shoot 4K HDR and 960fps slow motion. Sony’s unique audio device sits around its wearers shoulders and neck, providing an immersive sound field and vibrations you can really feel. It comes with a base station transmitter so you can enjoy TV shows or other audio sources without wires for up to 7 hours per charge. Save $50 on orders placed between 11/18/19 and 12/1/19.

Sony’s near-field powered speakers offer reference quality sound on your desktop. They used a back-to-back dual woofer design to cancel unwanted vibrations, and their coax drivers keep sounds in phase for perfect stereo imaging. The system is expected to cost about $8K when it drops in early 2020.

Kick out the jams at your next party with Sony’s jumbo-size party speaker. It has a colorful 360º party light, Bluetooth support, a CD player, gesture-based DJ controls, karaoke mode, microphone and guitar inputs, and more. You can even chain multiple devices together for bigger spaces, and it has wheels for transport.

Sony’s high-end APS-C camera has a crazy-fast 0.02 autofocus speed, continuous shooting at up to 11 fps, 5-axis in-body stabilization, 2.2x more battery life, and 4K video with no time limits. Equally as exciting is the announcement of a new 70-350mm E-mount superzoom lens, for crisp action shots at a distance.

We spent a couple of weeks living with the latest generation of Sony’s impressive high-tech robot dog, Aibo, and really are gonna miss the pup now that he’s gone. Sony manages to squeeze some of the impressive technology from its pro α9 into a high-end point and shoot. This pocketable camera has a 24-200mm zoom lens, 0.02-second focus time with real-time tracking, blackout-free burst shooting, 4K HDR video, and an external microphone jack. Drool.

It’s been 40 years since the original Sony Walkman cassette player burst onto the scene, transforming the way we listened to music forever. The Japanese electronics juggernaut pays tribute to its own creation, and its evolution over the years in this eye-catching, headphone-worthy clip.

Sony’s latest G Master lens for FE-mount cameras is perfect for pro sports and nature photographers. The $13,000 SEL600F40GM is a 600mm F4 telephoto that captures razor-sharp imagery of even fast-moving people and objects at incredible distances, thanks to its quick focusing and optical stabilization.

Sony’s Master Grade Series Z9G is an Android Smart TV with 8K resolution. It features detail upscaling and full-array local dimming for optimal contrast. It also has four speakers and can be used as a center speaker in a surround sound setup. Comes in 85″ and 98″ models.

Sony’s RX0 II is way more practical than its predecessor. Its 1″ 15.3MP CMOS sensor can now shoot 4K videos on its own, and it has a fliptop LCD screen for selfies and vlogging. It also has electronic image stabilization, eye AF, and a time-lapse mode.

The latest of Sony’s mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras is said to offer the fastest autofocus you can buy on any camera, locking on in just 0.02 sec, and has real-time object tracking for moving subjects. The 24.2 mp APS-C sensor can capture images at up to 11 fps.

Good Smile Company and Sony teamed up to create PlayStation-branded carry-on luggage. They each have a capacity of 32L and are made of ABS plastic and polyurethane. They’re available in three designs.

Sony’s Cyber-Shot HX99 compact camera measures only about 4″x 2″x 1″, yet packs an impressive 30x optical zoom (24mm to 720mm). It has an 18.2MP CMOS sensor and can shoot up to 4K/30fps. It also has a flash, an OLED EVF and a 180º tilting touchscreen.

Sony jumps on the retro console bandwagon with the PlayStation Classic. It looks just like the original PlayStation but is 45% smaller, has an HDMI output and is pre-loaded with 20 games, including Final Fantasy VII and Tekken 3. We hope Tony Hawk Pro Skater is in there too.

Sony’s WH-1000XM3 has four times better noise cancellation than its predecessor. It still has adaptive noise control, which lets you let background noise in so you can still be aware of your environment. It’s also more comfortable and has improved audio and microphones.

The Sony Xperia XZ3 features an edge-to-edge 6″ 2880×1440 HDR OLED display. It shoots 4K HDR and 1080p/960fps slow-mo video, supports Hi-Res audio, and has upgraded speakers with vibration for immersive sound. It drops 10/17/18 for $900.

Sony’s truly wireless headphones are both waterproof and dustproof. What’s more, they are actually standalone music players. With 4GB of onboard memory, they can store up to 21h of music. They can also connect to devices via Bluetooth or NFC.

Sony celebrates 500 million PlayStation consoles since 1994 with this sweet translucent blue and gold PS4 Pro. It packs a 2TB HDD, 4K and HDR support, comes with a matching controller, a standard PS Camera, and a vertical stand. Just 50,000 will be available on 8/24/18.

Enjoy videos on the go with Sony’s new MP-CD1 pocket portable projector. It weighs under 10z and is as small as a smartphone. Yet it shines up to 105 lumens and projects up to a 120″ 854×480 video. It accepts HDMI/MHL input and recharges via USB-C. It’s also a power bank.

PS4 owners, if you missed out on some of your console’s best games, watch out for PlayStation Hits. Starting 6/28/18, these classics will be at retailers and at the PlayStation Store for just $20 each. The launch titles include Uncharted 4, Bloodborne and The Last of Us Remastered.

The DPT-CP1 has all the features of Sony’s earlier 13″ eReader, but in a lighter and more portable 10.3″ form. It lets you read and annotate documents, take notes, read two documents at once and more. It lets you transfer files over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
