The Xperia XZ2 Premium not only has a crazy 5.8″ 4K HDR display, its dual rear cameras – one 19MP RGB and one 12MP black and white – can shoot in 4K HDR as well. The cameras also excel at low light – up to ISO 51200 for stills and ISO 12800 for videos.

Created by POOL inc., DENTSU, and Taiyo Kikaku Co. this Japanese commercial for the Sony PlayStation 4 is packed with creativity, with players not just dreaming about their superpowers and abilities from video games, but actually living with them.

Sony’s Xperia Ear Duo are wireless earphones that keep your ear canal open, so you can still hear the outside world even while the earphones are on. They have touch controls and microphones for playback and your mobile device’s personal assistant.

The perfect addition to any gameroom (assuming you’re a Sony fan) – this 12″ wide LED accent light features the triangle, circle, X, and square button icons which set PlayStation controllers apart. The lights can glow steady or blink in a seemingly random sequence.

Originally introduced back in 1999, Sony’s AIBO robotic pet dog is back and much improved. The adorable little digital pup moves much more smoothly, responds to touch, does tricks, recognizes people, and has soulful OLED eyes that express its virtual emotions.

Sony’s quirky personal speakers give you surround sound without taking up space or completely cutting off ambient noise. The SRS WS-1 has 2W drivers and vibration motors with three levels of strength. It comes with a wireless transmitter that can pair with two units at once.

Sony’s first completely wireless earphones are as tiny as they come, but they also have active noise cancellation. The WF-1000X even have sensors that can detect when you’re walking to automatically let ambient noise in. They can also let voices in but cancel other sounds out.

Sony’s Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact phones come with a 3D scanning app, which can capture images of faces, heads, food, or other objects along with a 3D depth map, resulting in impressively detailed 3D models which can be used in other apps, or even output to a 3D print.

Sony’s shockproof, crushproof, waterproof RX0 offers the versatility of action cameras, but with high-end features like 4:2:2 4K video, 960fps slow-mo, 4K clean HDMI output, multi-camera control, and more. It stores 1080p/60 internally, but needs an external recorder for 4K.

We got a chance to check out Sony’s nifty compact LSPX-P1 short throw projector, and found it to be a great way to add a splash of art, color, light, or movement to any flat surface – from walls to desktops to floors. Check out our full review on Technabob.

Sony’s KOOV robot construction system is designed to teach kids basic robotic concepts. The colorful blocks snap together, and can be programmed using a graphical interface which runs on tablets and PCs. Modules include buzzers, sensors, and actuators.

The incredible new α9 sports a 35mm full-frame sensor stacked with memory, allowing for 20fps continuous shooting at 24.2 MP, 4K video, crazy fast exposure and focus tracking, a silent, distortion-free shutter, and an OLED viewfinder which doesn’t black out between shots.

The Xperia XZ Premium has an HDR-enabled 5.5″ 4K touchscreen. Its 13MP front camera and 19MP rear camera both have optical image stabilization. The rear camera also has a 960fps slow motion mode, and can automatically take photos so you can catch fleeting moments.

The Xperia Touch projects a 23″ to 80″ 720p image on tabletops or walls, and has USB C, micro-HDMI, and microSD ports. It uses infrared light and a camera to detect touch input. It isn’t just a projector. It’s a full Android device with personal assistant features.

It’s not as thin as LG’s wallpaper TV, but Sony’s upcoming A1E is a sight to behold as well. It’s also rocking an OLED display for excellent blacks and viewing angles. It has a kickstand that also houses its guts, keeping the display itself thin and nearly borderless.

The LSPX-P1 is a portable ultra short throw projector that can create 720p screens between 22″ to 80″ wide diagonally. It can receive content from mobile devices, or from its included wireless HDMI transmitter. It lasts only 2h per charge though.

The premiere compact camera now has hybrid autofocus. The RX100 V is the first point-and-shoot to have 315 phase-detection focal points and the ability to shoot RAW at 24fps for up to 6s at a time. Shoots 4K video, 960fps super slow mo, and has a 24 to 70mm zoom lens.

The 4K-capable X3000R action camera has optical image stabilization, a new 8.2MP backlit CMOS sensor and a more user-friendly interface. If you’re fine with shooting only up to 1080p, check out the AS300, which is $100 cheaper.

With the announcement of the PS4 Pro, PlayStation Japan is slashing the price of the original PS4 by 5,000 yen. The 5,000 yen bill features writer Ichiyō Higuchi. PS4 exclusive Persona 5 features a band of thieves. Mix them all up and you have… a ballad?

With a much more powerful GPU, a faster CPU and memory, and a 1TB HDD, this special model of the PlayStation 4 lets existing and new titles play with improved textures, frame rates and effects, in resolutions up to 4K at 60fps. Some games will also support HDR. Drops 11/10/16.

The new Xperia XA Ultra is an Android phablet for selfie addicts. It has a 21.5MP rear camera and a 16MP front camera. It also has a 6″ nearly bezel-less 1080p display, a 2GHz 8-core CPU, 3GB RAM, a microSD slot, though sadly, only a 2700mAh battery.
