Australian trailer maker Patriot Campers modifies Toyota GXL Land Cruisers to conquer all conditions. It has an EFS suspension, custom aluminum bodywork with extended chassis and all the drawers and toolboxes that you need.

One of Toyota’s slick rides for SEMA 2016, Cartel Customs and Star Side Design turned the 4-door daily driver into a 2-door sportscar, turbo-boosted to 250 whp, stripped it down to just 2000 lb. with the driver, then coated the whole thing in a vibrant two-tone paint.

This low-riding, custom-built beast started life as a 2016 Land Cruiser, but now is capable of pushing out more than 2000 hp, and hitting a top speed of 220 mph, courtesy of Motorsports Technical Center, and a pair of volleyball-sized Garrett turbochargers. Debuts at SEMA 2016.

We recently drove from San Diego to Hollywood with Toyota in their fun and vibrant Scion iM hatchback. Along the way we flew jetpacks, went kayaking, boating, hiking, enjoyed amazing food and drink, and were reminded just how awesome road trips can be.

We visited Toyota’s 4.2m sq.ft. San Antonio Texas manufacturing plant to see how they build their rugged Tacoma and Tundra pickups. Over 7200 people from Toyota and its partners work in concert with robotics to complete a truck every 60 seconds. (Video by Jim Rough)

We reconnected with pro racer Ryan Millen to take a ride inside his Toyota Rally RAV4. Incredibly, it’s mostly stock other than the tires, shocks, exhaust, and rollcage. We still can’t believe this front-wheel drive SUV with an automatic can go around a dirt track like this.

You’ll believe a van can fly, as this custom Toyota Sienna tears up the track to win its class in the 2016 One Lap of America. The minivan finished 21 out of 69 overall, beating out Vipers and Corvettes. We caught up with the team for a couple of laps at Autobahn Country Club.

Dubai auto shop NSV shows off its 6×6 Toyota 70 Series Land Cruiser. A collaboration with 4×4 and 6×6 conversion specialist Multidrive, this homely pack mule has a 398hp 4L V6 and an active third axle.

After selling its 100th FJ, Icon came up with a proof of concept for future FJ models, with new parts such as a supercharged 540hp V8, custom Brembo brakes and custom Fox shocks. The vehicle will be displayed at the Petersen Automotive Museum.

Toyota and Yamaha’s revolutionary collaboration let the rest of the world know that Japan could make great sports cars too. This particular unit is in original condition save for its aftermarket AC unit. It will be auctioned off on 1/28/16 by RM Sotheby’s.

The most badass production 4Runner ever, the TRD Pro is the truck we’d want in a zombie apocalypse. Its TRD Bilstein shocks and multi-terrain systems will conquer any surface you can throw at them, and Crawl Control and Hill Start assist make quick work of tough terrain.

“Hydrogen? Are you telling me this sucker’s nuclear?” Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox hang out with scientist Mischa Pollack to find out about a real life Mr. Fusion – the Toyota Mirai’s hydrogen fuel cell. We still prefer the looks of Marty’s Tacoma though.

Toyota did their part for Back to the Future Day by giving Marty the truck he always dreamed of – though the HiLux of the past has been transformed into the awesome new 2016 Tacoma, complete with KC fog lights. Check it out in person in NYC, Dallas or LA on 10/21.
