Stephen Vitale’s short is a fantastic entry into the realm of Star Wars fan films. It follows the story of a girl’s journey to become a Jedi master, but whose eagerness leads her to make a tragic mistake along the way.

Auralnauts reinvents the story of Star Wars in this mock trailer which stars C-3PO (or is it Creepio?) as the main protagonist, chopped up from bits of the original trilogy, prequels, and a commercial for breakfast cereal (which we still have a box of in the Awesomer office).

The perfect gift for Star Wars fans of all ages, this new collection includes the charming Vader as good dad books, Goodnight Darth Vader and Darth Vader and Friends, along with two frameable art prints, all wonderfully illustrated by author Jeffrey Brown.
Motorcycle artist Clint Case spent “4 months, 100 glue sticks, 2 yards of fur, and 1 goat mask” to bless his son with one of the best combo costumes available. The well made fake Luke legs do a good job of selling the illusion.
“Aren’t all stormtroopers technically death troopers?” Your boy from far, far away is back with his reaction video to the final Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer. Watch as he slowly loses his temper at the inept Empire.
The second trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story reveals heroine Jyn Erso’s connection to the Death Star. We’re getting cringey vibes from the dialogue we’ve heard so far, but we’re still optimistic about this spinoff.
A wonderfully satisfying stop-motion time-lapse of the construction of the 4,016 piece LEGO Death Star, captured by Bart van Dijk. We love the way he morphed each frame of the build, so the bricks don’t just pop in, and instead emerge smoothly.
The cinematic trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic‘s latest expansion is about Vaylin, sister of Arcann and Thexan. As a child, she was so strong with the Force that the Emperor sent her away to be trained, a decision that her mother will forever regret not opposing.
YouTuber Aldo Jones spent about a month making the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer look freaky. Witness the Empire’s creepiest Star Destroyer, the Death Party Troopers, the Rebel soldier ALF and more.

“The armor. I just wanted to wear the armor.” Moments before taking part in the Battle of Jakku, three stormtroopers try to shake off their nervousness by telling each other what made them join the Imperial Army. A heartbreaking short by Benjamin Eck.
Whether you’re a supporter of the Light Side or the Dark Side of the Force, we’ve got you covered with our collection of officially-licensed Star Wars accessories. Han Solo’s blaster is our personal fave, but you can’t go wrong with a Stormtrooper ring, or a Darth Vader pendant.

The Force. The Jedi… All of it.. It’s all visual effects. Industrial Light & Magic shares some of the work that they did for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, including the Millennium Falcon, Starkiller Base and Rey and Kylo Ren’s fight.
Star Wars junkies will have to have Hot Toys’ jolly little renditions of R2-D2, C-3PO, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and more each with a disproportionately big head. We especially love the dusty droids, fresh from the sand dunes of Tatooine. Like bad guys? Grab this set.
What doesn’t work for one Star… actually works well with another Star. YouTuber Matthew Longua tried the Star Trek Beyond tactic, mashing up Beastie Boys’ Sabotage with the trailer for Rogue One, which is actually about sabotage.
Rich Williamson’s fan trailer imagines a movie about Obi Wan Kenobi’s life in between defeating Anakin and finding Luke. The footage is mostly copped from Ewan MacGregor’s appearance as Jesus in the film Last Days in the Desert.

It’s time to get excited for the first Star Wars spinoff movie, as a rag-tag team do what they must to steal the Death Star plans for the rebellion. And yes, Darth Vader will be on hand for the first time in years. Hopefully, he’ll say more than Luke did in Episode VII.
