The first of what we are sure will be many Star Wars stories on its way to the new Disney+ streaming service takes place between the fall of the Empire and the rise of the First Order. It stars a heavily armored Pedro Pascal in the title role, with Jon Favreau taking on writing and showrunner duties. Premieres 11/12/19.

Animator Ian Wilkins is working on a new Star Wars-inspired series, a fan film project based on Tom Veitch and Cam Kennedy’s beloved Dark Empire comics, in which Palpatine returns from the dead and Luke struggles with his dark side. The awesome music in the trailer comes from composer Daniel Ciurlizza.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is an action adventure game that takes place across all nine Star Wars films, modified of course with more whimsy and humor. You’ll be able to jump to any movie setting and progress as you wish. Coming to consoles and Windows in 2020.

The first gameplay trailer for the action adventure game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order shows the friends and foes you’ll meet as Jedi-in-training Cal Kestis. A lengthy gameplay video showcases Cal’s combat abilities and Force powers. The game drops 11/15/19.

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope came out in May, 1977. A few months later, ABC aired this gem, a one-hour behind-the-scenes special which went inside the production, with hosts C-3PO and R2-D2. It’s a wonderful watch for any fan of the franchise, and serves as a great time capsule of pre-CGI visual effects.

The first teaser trailer for the final film in George Lucas’ envisioned 9-film story arc. Directed by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker follows Rey as she graduates from apprentice to badass, and carves out her own legacy in a galaxy far, far away.
