Old school basketball meets cutting edge soccer tech in this upcoming variant of the OG Jordans. The Air Jordan 1 Retro Ultra High features an upper made of lightweight material and an ankle bootie borrowed from Nike’s new soccer cleats and futsal shoes. Drops 8/13/16.

adidas‘ newest basketball shoe rocks the mad comfy Boost midsole, wrapped in a protective rubber cage that extends into the grippy outsole. It also has a fully knit upper and heel laces for added support.

The shoe that made Nike’s Air-Sole visible finally gets the Flyknit treatment, making this the lightest Air Max 1 to date. The AM1 Ultra Flyknit’s tongue and toe have perforations to provide ventilation, while the rest of the upper is tightly knit for support. Drops 7/28/16.

The XXXI was inspired by the Jordan 1 and its infamous black-and-red variant. It has a synthetic leather and woven upper with the classic Swoosh and Air Jordan wings logos, neoprene ankle support, a phylon midsole and Zoom Air cushioning. Drops 9/3/16 for $185.

First released in 2015, Epaulet will be making another 300 pairs of classic athletic silhouttes handmade in unfinished and undyed horse leather. The shoes will acquire a patina with wear, making your pair unique. Available as a running shoe, basketball shoe or tennis shoes.

Nike is reinventing Gary Payton’s Air Zoom Flight The Glove signature shoe into the Air Zoom Cabos. Gone is the iconic zippered shroud in favor of a barrage of glow-in-the-dark Flywire cables. It will be available in black and white or white and green.
