Etsy shop Tasarim Takarim specializes in custom jewelry based on children’s drawings (or yours!). You can ask them to turn the doodles into pendants, bracelets, cufflinks, tabletop sculptures and more. The shop also accepts handwriting, handprints and footprints.

Dortmund-based Tom Wilhelm makes ’70s-themed cruisers by hand. His trademark design is a deck carved from a single piece of wood with a bold color or pattern painted on its lower half. The decks are made of a variety of wood, including zebrawood, walnut and ash.

Artist Jane Labowitch aka “Princess Etch-a-Sketch” creates intricate pop art portraits and scenes using those difficult to manipulate kids toys that we thought could only draw straight lines. You can buy the original, preserved works or prints in her Etsy shop.

Artist Morgan Loebel makes smartphone cases adorned with gruesome and incredibly detailed monster reliefs at the back. He loves to give them a slimy coating, and some also have pupils that seem to follow your gaze. Contact him on Etsy or Instagram to order.

Jeff Gray of Scene3Designs makes all sorts of nifty items by stacking, sanding, and laminating layers of cutoff wood from a skateboard maker. One of our faves is this pencil holder. We’d love to see him make a version that holds tools too.

Artist Kelly Rene Jelinek creates wall trophies and sculptures of animals by taking foam taxidermy forms and covering them with upholstery, adding glass eyes, resin claws and other bits. Some pieces use cut up pieces of fabric or yarn to simulate animal fur.

Genius Tee makes t-shirts that have a microfiber patch so you can wipe clean your glasses, mobile device, camera and more on the go. The patch is available in three sizes, while the shirts come in slim unisex sizes.

Etsy shop Rommy Debommy specializes in handbags, jewelry and accessories with silly and colorful designs based on food. The shop’s whimsical bow ties are made from foam and have an alligator clip at the back.

Latika Body Essentials has a silly holiday gift for folks who’ve been naughty or literally dirty. Its Lump of Coal soaps are partly made of activated charcoal and smells like smoked wood. Each bag contains three pieces of soap.

Oh, how we love the nostalgic, quirky goodness of Sara and Bobby Rosenstock’s letterpress collection. Handmade on their Vandercook press, with woodcut illustrations and great color combinations, it doesn’t even matter if we missed the show – we still feel connected.

Halloween may be over, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still wear this awesome papercraft dragon mask by RPS Creations. After printing out the template, you have about 8 hours of meticulous cutting and taping, but the end result is worth the effort. (Thanks Matthew!)

Milk Run Co.’s unique drink coasters are made from recycled plywood playing fields from old, defunct pinball machines. They come from a variety of machines circa 1955 to 1979. Sold in sets of four with a metal stand.

Tel Aviv-based artist Ariel Zuckerman uses paper origami techniques to create his striking lighting series; he stretches, folds and twists two dimensional sheets for the unexpected result, which looks great whether illuminated or not.

Etsy seller Teals Prairie offers a sleek laminate cube clock that can be engraved with your favorite saying or quote. We recommend the old adage “time is a flat circle” or the classic “in the midnight hour, she cried more, more, more.”

Etsy seller Yvonne Kai sells plant-based glycerin soaps with tiny vinyl or silicone sneaker replicas inside. Most of the current stock have Jordans, but there are a few soaps with Adidas and other Nike shoes as well.

Etsy seller The UFO Party makes 9″x 16″ throw pillows printed with art from VHS boxes. The store has several stock designs from popular movies, but you can also request a particular movie for them to scan and print.
