The salt-water aging process inspired two unusual cocktails created by Sunken Harbor Club Co-Owner St. John Frizell and Chief Cocktail Officer Garret Richard. A few drops of saline in each make all the difference.
Old Yachtsman
5 drops saline
2 dashes Angostura bitters
⅜ oz falernum
⅜ oz curaçao blend
½ oz Goslings Black Seal
1 ½ oz Goslings Spirited Seas
2 oz Vouvray champagne
2 oz water
Method: Carbonate and pour over cubed ice in a footed highball. Add ½ oz lime and garnish with a mint sprig.
Tucker's Cross
3 drops saline
1 dash chocolate bitters
½ tsp T’orgeat
¾ tsp coconut tincture
¾ oz Cap Corse Blanc
2 oz Goslings Spirited Seas
Method: Add all ingredients to a mixing glass filled with cubed ice. Stir. Strain into a Nick and Nora glass.
