Motion graphics shop FutureDeluxe created this colorful video using physical light and projection, all captured through their camera lens. We’re not sure how they created the underlying imagery, but combined with its audio track, it’s mesmerizing. Still images here.

We love tattoos. They can truly be personal works of art that we carry with us every day. An artist from animation studio Open the Portal recently collaborated with a tattoo studio to create a cool design which creates the illusion of movement as he twists his torso.

This quirky little robot is small enough to take anywhere, and can be used to sketch out line art images of anything you can draw on screen. Its robotic arm copies your hand movements, though its sketches have a bit of wobble to them – which gives them added character.

Beyond the Brick shows off the most impressive LEGO mosaic we’ve ever seen – an enormous 15 foot-tall, 300,000 brick version of the oft reinterpreted Adoration of the Magi by artist Dirk Denoyelle. Though the wise men are all a bit more modern than the classical paintings.

Ingvar Cronhammar’s sculpture Elia squats on a field in the arts and trade city of Herning in Denmark. True to Cronhammar’s style, Elia is futuristic yet primitive, imposing yet alluring, and stoic yet bothersome. It emits a flame on random occasions and amplifies thunder.

Balloon artist Mark Verge aka Jungle Jack shows Coolest Thing his masterpiece: a 12ft-tall and 43-ft long balloon T-rex. Mark usually spends around 40 hours and nearly 700 balloons to make the piece, which lasts only about 2 days at a time.

World Cup USA footballer Jay DeMerit is the man behind this line of unique Bluetooth speakers crafted from slices of reclaimed wood logs. Each one is made from an unused cut-off, dead standing, or felled tree that would have otherwise gone unused.
