Using a pair of clear plastic domes as a canvas and a 3D printing pen, artist 3D Sanago created a wireframe model of our planet, then proceeded to conjure up some plastic gears and attach the whole thing to a motorized base. The result is a neat see-through, spinning globe.

By duplicating and inverting aerial footage shot over New York City, filmmaker Humza Deas created a wild and wondrous new cityscape that’s grounded in reality but also completely surreal. The track is Periphescence by Glowworm.

Photographer Andrew Walker captured eye-popping footage of a structure that humans rarely see the inside of – the cooling tower of a nuclear power plant. This particular tower was part of a never-completed plant located in Satsop, Washington.

Epoxy resin lets you cast just about any shape into a durable and rigid form. In this DIY clip from Dread CraftStation, he shows us how clear resin can be tinted, molded, and sanded to form a complete set of see-through chess pieces. The resulting set looks super slick when placed on a board with lighting underneath.

A brief, but well-executed promo animation for the 2019 Festival International Du Film D’Animation d’Annecy. Students from the Gobelins animation school envision a world filled with guys in kaiju costumes stomping around a tiny Tokyo, slapping each other about in a monster-sized wrestling match.
