There was a time when floors made out of wooden bricks were commonplace. In this serene DIY clip from Mr. Chickadee, he takes us through the process of building such a floor for a blacksmith shop by pouring and smoothing dirt, cutting wood logs into bricks, hammering them each into place, then finishing them with fire.

Illustrator dvglzv loves to create imaginary comic book covers based on pop culture. He recently put together an brilliant series of vintage-style Marvel covers for each of The Mandalorian’s eight initial episodes. We’d love to see full comic books done this in this style.

Game fanatic Bluedrake42 takes a look inside of the truly unique visuals of MrGumix’s work-in-progress game ASCIICKER, which features a 3D world made up entirely out of ASCII text characters.
