Over the last few years, product designer Gianluca Gimini has asked friends and acquaintances to sketch what they thought a bicycle looked like from memory. He would later go on to build these awesomely offbeat, yet realistic 3D renderings of the bikes.

Trials rider Danny MacAskill is back, and this time he’s riding his mountain bike around the Edinburgh countryside, taking advantage of whatever he can find to show off his mad skills. Danny’s day of leisure sure looks like a workout to us, but he doesn’t crack so much as a sweat.

BMW’s far future concept for a motorcycle is one that’s so smart and safe that riders will not need safety equipment. It balances on its own, and has a flexible frame and adaptive tires instead of joints, bearings or suspension.

Ducati’s entry-level sportbike has a 113hp 937cc engine based on the Hypermotard’s core. Its frame is similar to the Panigale’s but has a more comfortable riding stance. It also has three riding modes, an adjustable windscreen and adjustable suspension. More here.

The Model E’s rustproof titanium alloy frame weighs just 3.7lb., making it quite possibly the lightest electric bicycle in the world. It’s powered by the Zehus Bike+, a system that integrates all the electronics, including the battery, into the rear hub.
