Awesome The Mandalorian

(Spoilers) The smash debuts of Disney+ and Star Wars The Mandalorian have us obsessed with mysterious helmeted characters, stark desert planets, incredible creatures, and a ridiculously cute baby Yoda. As viewers of The Mandalorian know, Baby Yoda can be a little mischievous. Auralnauts pokes fun at the father-son relationship that’s developing between Mando and The Child with dialogue that’s more relatable to those of us here on Earth… and a little lullaby.

Let the Baby Yoda merchandising commence! Funko celebrates The Mandalorian’s adorable 50-year-old, with both a classic-size Pop! and a near-life-size 10″ tall version. Both are due out Spring 2020, but can be pre-ordered now.

Sculptor Dr. Garuda starts out with a hunk of clay and some googly eyes, but eventually ends up with a wonderful miniature statue of everyone’s favorite little guy, the as yet unnamed member of our great Jedi master’s species, lovingly known as Baby Yoda.

“Stop touching things.” For anyone who has ever had a cat, that pretty much sums it up. OwlKitty did a great job poking fun at the dynamic between Mando and Baby Yoda in this brief parody of The Mandalorian, replacing the mysterious bounty hunter’s 50-year-old prize with a mischievous kitty.

The first of what we are sure will be many Star Wars stories on its way to the new Disney+ streaming service takes place between the fall of the Empire and the rise of the First Order. It stars a heavily armored Pedro Pascal in the title role, with Jon Favreau taking on writing and showrunner duties. Premieres 11/12/19.
