Japanese LEGO builder Nipe Nipe decided the closest McDonald’s was too far away, and set up one that could be used at home. This vending machine can dispense burgers and drinks, while a friendly voice takes your order and asks if you’d like fries with that.

Do you aspire to someday make an awesome LEGO railway like this one? Holger Matthes’ book could be the place to start. The hardcover book features 248 pages packed with the history of LEGO trains, and instructions for building your own working LEGO railroad.

LEGO machine maker JK Brickworks follows up last year’s Halloween candy dispenser with an even better one. His latest machine spins round and round, and flings candy bars at the kids. Want one? Buy the LEGO 17101 BOOST Creative Toolbox, and follow the directions here.

This new community lets LEGO builders submit their own unique designs, then have them packaged up for others to buy based on a provided parts list and build instructions. Some of the first kits include awesome designs by JK Brickworks, Felix Jaensch, and Nicolas Lespour.

Inspired by a design submitted by Grant Davis and Jason Allemann, this 859-piece LEGO kit lets builders create two different scenes inside the “pages” of a pop-up book, each based on a classic fairy tale – Little Red Riding Hood or Jack and the Beanstalk. Drops 11/1/18.

Yoshihito Isogawa shows off another impressive build. He used LEGO Technic and Mindstorms parts, along with mirrors and a laser pointer to create a mechanism that can project laser patterns on the wall by rapidly modulating its reflector. Here’s another variant he also made.

LEGO hops on the crowdfunding bandwagon with Forma. Meant to be a relaxing project for adults, the first kit lets you assemble a skeleton for an 11″ long mechanical fish. It comes with a koi skin, but you can also get a shark skin, and two other koi skins.

Brick fanatic Sariel shows off one of his most creative builds yet – a LEGO machine that uses a rotating loop of bubble wands and and a spinning fan blade to blow soap bubbles. Yes, there are off-the-shelf machines that do the same, but they’re not made from LEGO.

Based on a rare 2008 set, this 826-piece LEGO Creator Expert Vestas Wind Turbine lets you build a 39″ tall version of the energy capture devices you see popping up in the countryside. Its tiny trees are the first LEGO parts made from sustainable plant-based plastic. Drops 11/23/18.

LEGO fan Daniele Benedettelli shows off a nifty brick build – a little dude who plays a five key glockenspiel as his crank is turned. It can be “programmed” with music by adjusting the sequence of blocks on the chain below.

Pask Makes likes to build objects out of scrap wood. He recently attempted to make his own LEGO-style building blocks, and came to find it’s much more difficult than you might think due to the precision required to make them stack. Watch his earlier attempt here.

LEGO Ideas member The Humble Bricksmith proposes to turn the popular board game The Settlers of Catan into a set made purely of LEGO pieces. Even the dice and cards have been turned into LEGO. At only 2,717 pieces, the game still fits in a small box.

We recently got a look at the amazing life-size LEGO Technic replica of the Bugatti Chiron. Now go behind the scenes with the design and build team to see how this incredible vehicle came to life. We just want to make everything out of those flexible blue panels now.

Yusong Zhang wanted to make a functional LEGO project that still echoed the toy’s playful side, so he made this modern and minimalist coffee table. It’s made of over 10,000 bricks arranged in four colored layers. It’s not for sale, but he’s open to commissions.

A real Bugatti Chiron will set you back $2.5 million, but this one cost just 1,000,000 bricks… and 2,304 LEGO Power Function motors… and 4,032 Technic gears. This 3,300 lb Chiron makes just 5.3 hp with a top speed of 12.4 mph and is every bit as awesome as the real deal.

LEGO Ideas member baeeee9 made this proposal for an official set of Voltes V, the super robot from the eponymous 1970’s anime. Just like in the cartoon, it consists of five vehicles that can be combined to form the humanoid robot. We love the proposal’s sleek look.

LEGO Technics expert builder Shadow Elenter adds another ride to his miniature theme park. His latest build is a dizzying thrill ride which would make even the most iron-stomached Minifig lose its LEGO lunch. Be sure to stick around for a little bonus at 3:13.

It’s not the fastest or most efficient way to lift an object, but we’re still duly impressed that Brick Experiment Channel was able to successfully lift an 88 kg (195 lb) hunk of stone using a single LEGO Technics motor, gears, and string.

We’re pretty excited about the new LEGO Voltron set, but this 6-foot-tall version of the mech features more than 12 times as many pieces. This impressive construction took LEGO master builders over 233 hours and 28,000 bricks to design and assemble.

Tested checked out LEGO enthusiast Flynn de Marco and his friend’s Treasure of the Snake Queen. It’s a six-level animated LEGO sculpture that tells the tale of five adventurers on a quest to defeat the titular monster. It even has lights and sound effects.

LEGO fan and maker Adam Woodworth has supersized yet another model. This time he took the basic LEGO helicopter from the International Jetport kit and made a gigantic version that actually can fly. He had to use foam instead of plastic bricks to pull off such magic.

The LEGO Book charts the history of the famed toy company as well as its ever growing line of products. The New Edition adds LEGO’s latest sets, including the ones from LEGO Ideas. It also comes with an exclusive 2×4 LEGO brick. Drops 10/2/18.

LEGO enthusiast ZaziNombies made a life-size replica of the new double barrel shotgun in Fortnite. It’s made of 1100 LEGO pieces, weighs 4 lb and is nearly 2 ft long. It even has a working reload mechanism and has two LEGO shotgun shells.
