Elemental_lego builds original microscale LEGO models. Among his creations is this mechanical tank that crawls along a terrain treadmill beneath its wheels. It reminds us of the lunar buggy in the game Moon Patrol. He also built a rolling vehicle inspired by The Mandalorian’s Juggernaut. Buy the build instructions on Rebrickable.

A real hand grenade is designed to be tossed, then gives its thrower about 4 or 5 seconds to take cover before it explodes. This clever build from Make It LEGO follows the same paradigm. It stores energy in a rubber band “fuse” which then releases plastic shrapnel after a few seconds. Check out the build tutorial here.

LEGO bricks are the world’s favorite construction toys. We know they’re made out of plastic, but how do they make so many different colors and shapes? And how do they package just the right quantity of the right bricks? The LEGO Group takes us inside of their factories for an inside look at how a finished set comes together.

Expert LEGO builder Akiyuki takes us on a ride on a 224-foot-long train track that he designed and built. Along the way, you’ll enjoy twists, turns, loops, cliffs, bridges, and a few obstacles. The self-propelled camera car’s speed is more railroad than roller coaster, but it’s still a fun ride, especially watching it climb the stairs.

LEGO fanatic Brick Dangerous designed this awesome set of brick-built marine creatures. The 1164-piece set includes models of a seahorse, a jellyfish, and a clownfish (we found Nemo!), each of which can be displayed beneath a see-through cover that looks like a bell glass. Designed by LEGO Ideas 10K Club Member BrickHammer, this wondrous 2720-piece flying machine combines pirate-themed elements, steampunk aesthetics, and a splash of color. Despite the pirate ship looks, its creator says it’s a flying research vessel with defensive cannons to take on space pirates.

Matt Denton of Mantis Hacks has been working on a LEGO-inspired go-kart made with larger than life 3D-printed plastic bricks. After countless hours on the project, he’s ready to take his creation for a test drive. You can check out the full series of build videos here.

LEGO has announced that toastergrl’s concept for a Sonic the Hedgehog playset has been approved for production. While we don’t know what the final version will look like, the current design includes brick-built versions of Sonic, Dr. Eggman and his mech suit, Heavy Gunner, and familiar scenery from the Green Hill Zone.

After building a LEGO machine that cuts gift wrap to the proper size for packages, The Brick Wall made good on their promise to build a machine that takes care of the wrapping too. It’s an impressive work of LEGO engineering, and we must have one of these before next Christmas comes around.

JK Brickworks shows off another one of his neat LEGO creations – a train that hangs from a track instead of riding on rails below. The design uses LEGO roller coaster track and motorized rollers above the gondola-style railway cars. Watch the build, or skip to 4:27 to see it running.

LEGO builder AstonishingStudios wants to eventually build a machine that can cook and assemble an entire Egg McMuffin. First on the list – a robot that breaks open an egg and separates it from its shell. It can also split up its yolk and its white. The trickiest part was engineering the part that delicately holds the egg and cracks it.

This 1458-piece LEGO Creator set lets you build a classic Porsche 911 from the late 1970s. You can choose to make either a 911 Turbo or open-top 911 Targa, and both cars have a detailed interior, flat-6 engine, steerable wheels, and tilting front seats. Motorized LEGO cars usually drive in a straight line, or maybe can turn left and right. But Konstrakt Abstrakt designed this unusual Technic vehicle that can reconfigure its four motors and wheels to maneuver into tight parking spaces. You can find the full parts list on Rebrickable.

Based on a fan-submitted concept, this LEGO blacksmith shop is packed with lots of tools, and armor, and its interior features a glowing forge with a light-up LEGO brick. The 2164-piece set has a removable roof for peering inside and comes with a blacksmith, archer, two Black Falcon Knights, horse, dog, and frog figures.

While it doesn’t have nearly as many pieces as the Ultimate Collector Series version of the Millennium Falcon, intronDave’s LEGO model is about 50% larger. He used the now rare mid-scale version as a guide for 3D printing 356 jumbo (500% scale) LEGO bricks to snap together his 70-pound model.

This is the way… to make a LEGO Star Wars animation. Forrest Whaley created this action-packed short film featuring Din Djarin as he puts his helmet back on to pursue a valuable bounty. Rather than just featuring characters from a galaxy far, far away, it takes place in a world populated by all kinds of LEGO minifigs.
