Animator Cyriak dips back into the wacky sauce once more, this time creating a trippy short film based on old footage of monkeys banging on typewriters. We were waiting for them to write some Shakespeare, but that never happened.

The latest trailer for The LEGO Movie sums up its plot – an ordinary minifigure (voiced by Chris Pratt) is mistaken as being the heroic “Master Builder” – while spoofing Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. The movie drops on 2/7/14.

Last time we trusted a Brit to teach us about American football, it didn’t go well. Thankfully, UK animator Fraser Davidson’s short clip is significantly more accurate, even if it’s a bit light in educational value. (Thanks Brian!)

If this promo for The LEGO Movie is any indication of what we can expect, we’ll be happy to go see it when it hits theaters this February 7. Heck, it’s got Will Arnett as Batman and Morgan Freeman reading the phonebook for goodness sake.

It may only be 10 seconds-long, but Wayne Unten’s animated short film of a grasshopper transporting an unexpected passenger could be the best thing you watch today. We can imagine an entire Disney flick based on this theme.

Having a Colossal Titan break down the walls to your village isn’t exactly a good way to start the week. But it turns out not all Titans are bad, if this short clip from FOX ADHD is to be believed. Or not.

The dream of the 90s is alive in Volans. Talented digital artist Murat Sayginer made this psychedelic short film. It reminds us of the videos used to demonstrate graphics cards back in the day. It’s kitsch in HD, and it works.

Animation Domination HD is known for its Scientifically Accurate series, but this time it does the exact opposite and wilds out on anime powers. And starts a flame war. Also this guy’s powers are awesome too. Awesome for us.
