StoryCorps shares the fortitude of Bryan Wilmouth. As a teenager, Bryan’s father kicked him out of the house for being gay. Despite being estranged, Bryan made sure to look out for his seven younger siblings as they grew older.

This wonderfully animated CGI short film by Daniel Haughton in which all of the characters and environments appear to have been made from pieces of plain white paper gives us a glimpse into life at the bottom of a recycling bin.

(NSFW: Language, Gore) Claymation master Lee Hardcastle had Peter, Ray, Egon and Winston recreate scenes from Reservoir Dogs, Inglorious Basterds, Pulp Fiction and other Tarantino films. Also, here’s a promising pitch for Ghostbusters 3.

For their latest Realistic Mario clip, The Pete Holmes Show shows us exactly why it’s a bad idea to wander around and eat strange, colorful mushrooms off the ground. At least he didn’t eat any fire flowers – those are a really bad trip.

Two pro wrestling puppets duke it out in this hilarious commercial for the 2013 Festival National du Film d’Animation. Emma De Swaef and Marc James Roels directed the stop-motion animated short.

(NSFW) FilmCow’s resident illustrator Jason was busy with another project, so he asked Chris to fill in for him. And despite Chris’ complete lack of experience, Jason didn’t go easy on him with the script he assigned him.

(Gore) Two cops rescue a winged child in this animated short by Studio Ghibli co-founder Hayao Miyazaki. Released in 1995, Miyazaki made it for rock duo Chage & Aska, who used it as the video for their song On Your Mark.

Cupid makes Adam and Eve fall in love. It eventually leads to the apocalypse. Panop Koonwat’s quickly escalating short film features gorgeous animation and enough innuendos to feed your inner school boy.
