(Gore) Beyond Outrage is a Japanese action film about two yakuza clans taking their power struggle to a national scale. Starring, written by and directed by the legendary Japanese entertainer Takeshi “Beat” Kitano.

The sequel to the critically-acclaimed adventure game spinoff of The Walking Dead. The Walking Dead: Season 2 starts off a few months after the first game. Play as young Clementine, left to fend for herself in the zombie apocalypse.

The new trailer for Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street lays out the life story of stock swindler Jordan Belfort. We’re not sure if it would be appropriate or ironic if Leo won his first Oscar with a comedy flick.

In this upcoming HBO drama, two detectives try to find a serial killer who’s been terrorizing Louisiana for 17 years. But it seems like one of them has a dark side of his own. The song is Young Men Dead by The Black Angels.

Bryan Singer directs the usual suspects (sorry, couldn’t help that one) in this upcoming X-Men installment; here, the X-Men send Wolverine to the past, where he must fight a war to change the past and protect the future of the species.

This look at Star Citizen shows off one of the game’s more agile and lethal spaceships, the Hornet. It’s running in the game’s engine, though we’re not sure if it’s representative of gameplay. Watch it in 4K if you can.

The latest movie from Studio Ghibli, Kaguya-hime no Monogatari aka The Tale of Princess Kaguya is based on a 10th century Japanese folktale. It’s directed by Ghibli co-founder Isao Takahata (Grave of the Fireflies). More here.

On 11/23/13, BBC honors the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who with a special episode: The Day of the Doctor. It will star both the current Doctor played by Matt Smith as well as the tenth Doctor played by David Tennant.

Taking place after KH 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Kingdom Hearts III brings back the gang from the first game: Goofy, Donald, King Mickey and Sora, who’s now a teenager. The game will be released for the PS4 and the Xbox One.

Wes Anderson’s latest film follows the misadventures of hotel concierge Gustave H and his sidekick Zero Moustafa, the hotel’s lobby boy. Naturally, the film features an all-star cast, and Anderson’s whimsy and visual panache.

While we’re not sure it’s as difficult of a nemesis to take down as a sharknado, the idea of a giant, venom spewing arachnid destroying L.A. sounds like a good way to pass the time while chomping popcorn. Anyone got a 200-foot-tall can of Raid?

Joel Allen Schroeder’s documentary about the legacy of Calvin & Hobbes will be in theaters soon and is available for pre-order. It doesn’t appear to have Mr. Watterson himself, but that’s to be expected. Also on iTunes.

Ben Stiller plays Walter Mitty, a timid man who daydreams as a form of escape. But soon he’ll find out that real life can be better than his wildest dreams. Seems like a happier take on James Thurber’s classic short story.

“We’re brothers. We’re all we’ve got.” It’s Christian Bale versus Woody Harrelson in Out of the Furnace, a promising drama that uses the current economic situation as its backdrop. Directed by Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart).
