Retaining much of the HP 8730w’s visual language, the HP 2530p is an ultraportable with a 12″ LED screen, 80GB hard drive and up to 8 GB of RAM. It weighs just over 3 lbs.

The Sooloos Media System is a music hub: use the 17″ touchscreen to to choose tailored music “recipes”. At $13k, you can also sync up with your numerous beach houses and penthouses.

Designed by Martijn Koch, Retro Space is as much a functional arcade cabinet as it is an homage to years past, drawing cues from Pong, Pacman and other famous arcade machines.

Indamixx takes Samsung’s Q1 Ultra touchscreen UMPC and turns it into a mobile mixing studio, with multi track recording and editing, Wi-Fi, Skype, and internet browsing. It’s Eminem!

The Asterisco Hub isn’t the most practical of concepts (it’s quite the space hog), but it works on two very important levels: 1) it looks cool; 2) it can be used as a ninja star on short notice.

The video (above) of the Laser Beam Music Generator is dorky, but the premise is interesting: six laser beams, 64 music sequences and 19 genres for some crazy solo jam sessions.
