This unique piece of wood furniture from Solidhorse features a modular design that lets you adjust the heights and positions of its shelves using pegs. It comes with two serving/display shelves and two small bottle holders that are great for serving wine and other spirits. They also make a similar laptop desk and folding table.

Designed by Jirs Huygen for Copag, these premium playing cards are great for magic, cardistry, or just playing a game of poker. They feature a black background with inverse fine line art in white or red ink, along with a skull motif throughout. The True Linen B9 finish is designed for smooth handling and longevity.

Darkboard offers a bold take on board game design. These eye-catching boards are made from laser-cut acrylic which sit on a backlit base. The designs create the illusion of depth and can be swapped out between Chess, Surakarta, Ludo (Parcheesi), and Nine Men’s Morris boards. Each set includes 32 acrylic chess pieces.

There’s something so satisfying about a well-organized workshop. Maker Zack Freedman shows how he brought order to chaos by creating a wall of parts bins that create a smooth gradient when all the drawers are in their proper places. He 3D printed the faceplates using rainbow filament and laser cut the drawer labels.

The Mandalorian’s gunship, the Razor Crest, didn’t fare very well by the end of season two, but it still has a place in our hearts. A group of dedicated Star Wars fans in Yakutsk, Siberia built a 13-foot-tall replica of the ship out of wood and foam panels, and while it’s not likely to be space-worthy, it does look awesome.

Sure, you could store your keepsakes in a regular old box, or they could be guarded by a ferocious monster. If given a choice, we’d go with the latter. Boxnmor’s playful handmade wood box has beady little eyes and pointy maple wood teeth to ward off would-be thieves.

Watch as a pile of ordinary brass nuts and bolts is transformed into a shiny sculpture of an insect by artist Ross the Random. We weren’t quite sure where he was going at first with the wing piece, but the finished work turned out to be quite amazing.

Designed by Fabio Novembre for Cappellini, the Adaptation Sofa is designed to play with our perceptions. Thanks to its wedge-shaped seat cushions, the sofa has the appearance of leaning despite having a perfectly horizontal surface to sit on.

(Flashing images) Filmmaker Páraic McGloughlin created this mindblowing music video for Monolink’s track The Prey, incorporating the incredible sculpture of artist Tomàs Barceló. Páraic created the dizzying visuals by cutting between similar objects, locations, and perspectives in rapid succession.

Taat Handycraft took a dirty cigarette lighter, cleaned it up, disassembled it, and transformed its translucent red shell into the body of a miniature Ford Mustang. We’re impressed with the creativity and the amount of cutting and shaping it took to create the model car. He’s also made a pickup truck and some Mini Coopers.

JBV Creative designed this interactive marble coaster that can be wall-mounted. To build the maze, he created 3D models in Solidworks, then rendered the components on a 3D printer. Once it’s loaded up with marbles, it continuously recirculates with the turn of its crank. You can buy the STL files to make your own on JBL’s website.

Google Arts & Culture’s online exhibition offers a fascinating look at the history of electronic music. The museum features content from cultural partners around the world and looks at the people, technology, and creativity that paved the way for modern music. You can also play with AR Synth, a virtual electronic music studio.

Michigan artist Scott Nelles hand crafts all kinds of neat objects from cast metals. Among them is this awesome retro-futurist ray gun that looks straight out of Flash Gordon. The 15″ long space artifact is made from bronze and aluminum and features a working trigger. We also love his flying saucer and rocket coin bank.

This video clip starts out as the countdown graphic that YouTube shows before a premiere. But keep watching and you’ll see it morph into other iconic intro screens. Motion graphic artist 4096 seamlessly blended the transitions between several familiar images, like they previously did with game console startup screens.

After making an axe shaped like a hand, Dirk from The Metalist thought his tool collection could use another hand. Or, more precisely, a fist. In this video, Dirk takes an old sledgehammer and makes it look like a clenched fist, ready to deliver blows to any building materials that stand in its way.

During 2020, photographer and filmmaker Dustin Farrell spent the better part of six months, driving more than 38,000 miles to chase down storms and shoot footage. The end result, 101 incredible shots of nature’s fury in action, compiled into an epic 3-minute short film.

(Gore) Attack on Titan’s Chō ōgata Kyojin aka “Colossal Titan” is one of the most terrifying and gruesome characters in the history of anime. Artist Dr. Garuda shows off his process as he sculpts a miniature clay model of the powerful god of destruction, exposed musculature and all.

Masayoshi Matsumoto is no birthday party balloon artist. Nope, his specialty is creating complex balloon animals that belong in an art gallery. His inflatable sculptures require many more bends and twists than typical balloon art, resulting in greater detail and realism. Check out his YouTube channel for tutorials.

With the proper pilot at the controls, photography drones can capture visuals that once seemed impossible, like this sequence shot by Jay Christensen. The scene starts outside of Minneapolis’ Bryant Lake Bowl & Theater, zooms down the lanes, through the pinsetters, around the bar, then into the movie theater.
