The Arizona Copper Company makes these unique wall and tabletop clocks with dramatic patina finishes. The nature of the process means each clock is one-of-a-kind. They come in a variety of sizes in both square and round designs. Our favorite style is the high-contrast look of the dark turquoise pattern.

Working with styrofoam can be pretty tricky, especially the way that it tends to break. But that doesn’t stop artist Vinayak R, who makes detailed architectural structures out of the material. He uses hot-wire cutting, hand carving, and sanding to create the pieces for his models. He then spray paints them to bring out the details.

Rademic Puzzles creates awesome-looking metal puzzles, including the stainless steel Hexahog. This 3-dimensional puzzle is made of 14 unique pieces which interlock to form an outer cage and an inner cage, which contains a sculptural brass nugget. PuzzleMaster explains the puzzle’s design without giving away any tricks.

How’d you like to spend your weekends in a lunar lander? Catamaran designer Kurt Hughes turned his skills towards building an earthbound structure inspired by the iconic space vehicle. His 250 sq.ft. “fishing shack” sits along the banks of the Columbia River, and is made from carbon fiber panels, plywood, and epoxy.

(Gore) The weapons in the RPG shooter Outriders have some of the most insane designs ever. Among them is the Grim Marrow, a deadly light machine gun made from bones wrapped around a sparkly crystal structure. Kamui Cosplay built an amazing replica from PVC and foam, loaded with colorful light-up crystals.

Pixels sources designs from independent artists and applies them to tons of products, anything from t-shirts to iPhone cases, to help artists reach a larger audience and get paid. Customers can shop thousands of options, all while feeling good that their dollars are going to the right place.

Idaho artist Thunktronix makes playful pixel-art sculptures of characters from video games and pop culture. Each of the sprites is made from 1/4″-thick plexiglass which has been decorated with translucent colors on back. Robotron, Donkey Kong, and the Mooninites from Aqua Teen Hunger Force are among our favorites.

Most of the marble machines we’ve seen are either powered by gravity or motors. But builder Daniel de Bruin shows us how he made a mechanism that stores up energy using a spring, carrying marbles to the top of a tiny bent-wire maze using a Ferris wheel of sorts.

Following up on his Instant Noodle cards, magician Bao Hoang turns to another tasty treat as a source of inspiration: brown sugar bubble tea. The cards are decorated in soothing shades of brown and beige, decked out with tapioca pearls and playful court card illustrations incorporating the refreshing Taiwanese beverage.

Vinyl records are all the rage thanks to their warm, analog sounds. But if you’re going to go retro, why not go vintage? ROKR’s 424-piece kit gives you everything you need to build your own hand-cranked gramophone. A centrifugal governor helps maintain the record’s speed, and it can play 33s, 45s, and 78s.

Ilya from That Works turns to traditional Japanese blacksmithing methods to create a short sword known as a tantō. To accompany the crafting footage, he offers an in-depth lesson on the history of these weapons and their swordsmiths. The finished sword is a true work of art – and deadly sharp.

This unique laptop/messenger bag is handmade by Canadian woodworker Bom Design. It’s made from Mozambique wood veneer, which has been molded into a sleek and modern shape and attached to a sturdy leather carrying strap. Its removable felt interior pouch offers protection and holds up to a 15″ laptop.

After building a larger-than-life utility knife and a huge screwdriver, Jackman Works is adding another tool to his giant-sized collection. This time he made an Estwing hammer fit for Paul Bunyan, carving the 8-foot-long, 90 pound monster out of reclaimed southern yellow pine. We’re gonna need a bigger workbench.

Kings Wild Project’s money-inspired playing cards features intricate drawings that look like banknote engravings. Artist Jackson Robinson’s imagery is embellished with a foil printing technique that gives this deck and its box a shimmery holographic effect that mimics the anti-counterfeiting tech used in modern paper currency.

We’ve featured lots of blacksmithing videos over the years, and perhaps we’ve inspired a few of you to try it for yourself. Ryan Ridgway’s book provides step-by-step instructions and photos for 40 projects you can do with basic equipment at home. You’ll also learn about the science and history of blacksmithing along the way.

3D printers use a technique called “infill” to provide structure and reduce material use and print times. Breaks’n’Makes was intrigued by the geometric patterns and decided to create coasters out of some infill. He then wrapped them in wood and coated in resin for durability. You can buy sets of six on his Etsy shop.

Modern firearms are usually made from metal and maybe a little bit of plastic. While ND Woodworking Art’s handmade wooden machine gun can’t fire its wooden bullets, it’s still an impressive and detailed piece of art. Just don’t try looking through the scope.

Italian furniture company PLANK sent director Lucas Zanotto some of their modern furniture and asked him to do “something” with it. So he and his nephew spent two weeks of trial-and-error incorporating the furniture into ping pong ball trick shots. It took over 2000 attempts to capture the 90-second ad spot.

We recently watched in amazement as RAY Studio converted a shaver into War Machine. In this video, the talented maker took a smartphone engineering prototype, broke it down into hundreds of individual components, then reassembled them to form an intricate dragon sculpture.

Maker The Q shows off one of his more unusual constructions – a mouse-sized wooden staircase that appears to be built into a wall. We’re not sure where the secret door leads to, but we want him to build the rest of the house to go with it now.

URWizards creates unique dice for role-playing games. You’ll discover new colors every time you roll these gorgeous pieces made from prismatic glass. They’re sold in a set of seven dice, with various D20 designs to choose from, including moon, triforce, unicorn, and dagger. They also sell a frosted version.

Artist Ben Vessey created this awesome set of icons that transform iOS devices into a classic Apple Macintosh. The set includes more than 110 monochrome pixel icons in dark and light themes and six wallpapers. While the set covers many popular apps, Ben also offers a premium edition that includes five custom app icons.

Ksawery Kirklewski used Processing to create this intriguing computer animation that manipulates outlines of virtual humanoid figures. The interactive version on the project website automatically selects a random assortment of vignettes in sync with the music’s rhythm. The track is from wh0wh0’s debut album.
