Mexico City is one of the world’s most dog-friendly cities, especially the charming Condesa neighborhood, where dogs outnumber people. At the pet-loving hotel Andaz Mexico City Condesa, canines live it up at the Rooftop Beer Garden & Canine Club. The indoor/outdoor hangout on the second-floor terrace caters to dogs and their humans.
Inside is a cafe, bar, and well-curated pet boutique. Dogs are welcome to belly up to the bar for specially-made doggie beer and all-natural baked treats by the Andaz’s pastry chef Aaron Santana. There’s even a pet napping area if they need a quiet space while the bi-peds sip cocktails.
Outside is a spacious open-air terrace with table service — from menus for dogs and people — and a cute food truck serving snacks like (of course) hot dogs. Dog bowls are readily available. Relief stations, too. In case of accidents, dedicated staff are on poop patrol to keep the wall-to-wall astroturf clean.
