Awesome John Travolta

The movies Saturday Night Fever and its sequel Staying Alive are so indelibly intertwined with the music of the Bee Gees that we can’t imagine them any other way. But the guys at Auralnauts like to subvert expectations, so they edited John Travolta’s big strut scene at the end of the movie, removing the trio’s trademark disco sound.

“The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.” Jules Winnfield seems way more articulate and sensible than the average politician these days. So why not throw your support behind Samuel L. Jackson’s Pulp Fiction persona and his running mate Vincent Vega?

At one point, John Travolta was offered the part of Forrest Gump, but he turned it down to do Pulp Fiction instead. But with the help of Shamook and deepfake technology, we can now see how the Bob Zemeckis classic might have turned out had the original casting held. Now we want to see Tom Hanks as Vincent Vega.

John Travolta steps out of his comfort zone as a movie fan obsessed with an on-screen action hero, and manages to find the star’s home after being denied an autograph. Then really bad things happen in this thriller directed by Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst.

John Travolta takes on the role of the heavy in this dramatically-embellished biopic about mob boss John Gotti, how he rose through the ranks of the Gambino family, eventually seized power for himself, his uncanny ability to avoid prosecution, and his eventual fall.

We liked John Travolta in the first From Paris With Love trailer, but this red band trailer with NSFW language shows how out of his mind his character Wax is; totally un-PC, but totally worth it.

From Paris With Love has John Travolta looking his sharpest (and shiniest) since Face Off; he stars alongside Jonathan Rhys Meyers in this action/thriller, due in theaters 2/5/2010.
