Awesome Crytek

Direct-feed footage from Crytek’s immersive demo built for virtual reality systems like the Oculus Rift. We can only imagine how cool this will be when viewed with the proper headgear – or if they turned it into a full-fledged game.

A brief look at the free-to-play class-based online FPS coming from Crytek that drops today (10/21). Like most free games, there are plenty of paid upgrades to help you win, but it still looks pretty awesome.

Crytek’s CryENGINE 3 game development platform is now available to devs; it features PS3, Xbox 360 and DX9/DX10 support and a redesigned sandbox editor with real-time Live Create.
