Aram Bartholl’s Dead Drops project gives new meaning to peer-to-peer file sharing. Bartholl embedded five USB flash drives all around New York City that anyone can use to load or copy files.

Ironically, the Infinite USB Memory (IUM) Drive has no storage capacity at all. What it does is enable you to share and stream files via WiFi. It will be detected by devices as a normal USB drive.
