NURK FPV and sponsor FPVDirect present some of the sweetest first-person view drone footage we’ve seen, as the pilot deftly maneuvers a quadcopter through a bridge, alongside and over a train, and turns in some thrilling loops and tricks the whole way along.
THE BEST Stunts
You’d think that a 3-wheeler powered by water wouldn’t go very fast, but as we recently learned, liquid can generate some crazy force when under pressure. Riding atop a 6,000 PSI water tank, François Gissy was able to go from 0 to 62 mph in 0.55s with a 162mph top speed.
Devin “Supertramp” Graham assembled a group of daredevils, who donned parachutes, then slid down a soap-covered Slip ‘N Slide off of a 500 foot cliff for this epic stunt. The Subaru product placement is a bit in your face, but Devin’s gotta pay the bills too. BTS vid here.
After you wolf down your requisite dose of fried dough and sugar today, sit back and enjoy some donuts of the automotive variety, courtesy of pro driver RJ Anderson, as he spins circles on his BFGoodrich® Tires. As Anderson proves, the best donuts are the ones you make yourself.
A while back, we watched CaseyNeistat hang from a drone that lifted him off the ground, but this feat is even more impressive, as Aerones used their 28-propellor drone to lift skydiver Ingus Augstkalns from a tower to a height of ~1082 ft before he lept off. (Thanks Einarr!)
The Slow-Mo Guys set up one of their more ridiculous stunts yet, packing a trampoline with 1000 fully-armed mousetraps, then Dan jumped into the middle of them. As painful as you’d think it might have been, The Backyard Scientist’s rig would have hurt much more.
During the 2017 Monster Jam World Finals XVIII, driver Lee O’Donnell was zipping around the dirt in his beastly ride, The Mad Scientist, when he pulled off a stunt never before performed in a monster truck – a front flip. Naturally, he went on to win the freestyle competition.
Attaching a couple of canisters of pressurized nitrous oxide to a desk chair probably isn’t the best idea, but that didn’t stop these guys from Street Outlaws from doing it anyhow. We sure hope the dude in the chair didn’t eat lunch before he did this idiotic, yet hilarious stunt.
Do you hate waiting in traffic? The Hum Rider solves this problem by widening its wheels to ride between the lanes, then rising up about nine feet in the air to drive right over traffic jams. We want one, but sadly it’s just a promotional stunt for Verizon’s Hum car gadgets.
Austrian downhill cyclist Markus Stöckl recently zipped down a steep slope in the Atacama region of Chile to set a new world’s record for speed on a mountain bike – 167 km/h, or about 103.79 mph. It took Max about 11 seconds to reach his top speed on the way down.
It takes a minute to get to the action in this clip of rollerblader Grigoriy Usenko tearing up some MTB slopestyle ramps in the woods outside of Krasnodar, Russia. But you’ll want to watch those first 60 seconds too, packed with cool motion time-lapse footage of the nearby city.
(PG-13: Language) Daniel Bodin pulled off one of the most insane freestyle tricks we’ve ever seen on a snowmobile. Somehow he managed to flip his machine upside-down not once, but twice. Watch the dizzying POV footage first, then see how it looked to the outside world.
