COSMIC MOTORS is a fantastic, albeit fictional look at spaceships and their totally smokin’ pilots. It’s written by Daniel Simon, who in real life has worked for Bugatti and Lamborghini.

Sci-fi writer Robert Heinlein has posthumously published Variable Star with Spider Robinson. The book reads like classic 50s Heinlein, and is based on notes left by the late writer.

Star Trek Online’s rebirth will be complete on August 10th, with Leonard Nimoy officially announcing the game in Las Vegas at one of the world’s biggest nerd-fests, the Star Trek Convention.

We’re personally getting tired of the Steampunk genre, but we still love these robot models by The Builder’s Studio. They look metallic, but these retro tech creations are made out of wood.
