Awesome Roller Coasters

YouTuber Rolf Zemp shared this clip of a fully functioning roller coaster float made by locals in Bassersdorf, a town in Zurich, Switzerland. The committee behind it spent several hundred hours building the thrilling ride on wheels.

The Batman: The Ride roller coaster has chairs swing and flip independently as they go about the already twisted track, apparently causing riders to experience weightlessness. Opens at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in 2015.

Brickride’s impressive build uses 100% LEGO components to create a fully-functional rollercoaster, complete with a loop and a corkscrew. See a time-lapse of the build here. Check out one of their earlier coasters here.
