Remember those Fisher Price record players that played chunky plastic discs? Well thanks to 3D printing tech and the DIY brains of Fred27, you can make your own custom records for the classic toy.

Holy collaboration, Batman! Feist and Mastodon are releasing their split single online. The video for Mastodon’s take of A Commotion features the songstress making, well, a commotion.

Former UC Berkeley QB Joe Ayoob and airplane builder John Collins recently set a world distance record with a flight that never left its hangar at McClellan Air Force Base; he tossed a paper airplane over 226 feet. (Thanks Triston!)

Speedcuber Marcell Endrey recently set a world record for solving a standard 3×3 Rubik’s Cube while blindfolded at 28.8s. We wouldn’t be able to solve the damned thing if we had ten eyes.

Sure, this record was set all the way back in 1996 (and the video quality looks like its from 1986), but we’re still impressed with Sam Tartamella’s epic 2,255 foot-long skateboarding handstand.

Andrew Lewis breaks the World Record for “most side-surfs on a slackline in one minute”, seemingly defying physics as he bounces back and forth 143 times before (safely) falling from the line.

An 11-year-old girl going by the name Spinderella (no not that one) performs a headspin for an unreal 13 minutes, 53.34 seconds. She even has time to play with her iPad and some light reading.

Powered by a Samsung Galaxy SII and LEGO NXT, the CubeStormer II robot beat the human record for solving the Cube, with a time of just 5.35 secs. We certainly can’t rearrange stickers that fast.
