Max Verstappen showed off his new Oracle Red Bull Racing RB20 F1 car in spectacular fashion. Zooming around Silverstone’s 5.8 km (3.6 mi) Grand Prix Circuit, he was pursued by the Dutch Drone Gods and their custom drone that flies at up to 350 km/h (~217 mph). Drivers David Coulthard and Liam Lawson helped with some trial runs before the big test.

Genesis has created some exceptional vehicles that blend luxury, style, and performance. The Gran Berlinetta VGT Concept isn’t something you’ll be able to drive on the road, but players of Gran Turismo 7 will soon get to drive this sleek hybrid race car with 1071 hp and 986 lb-ft. of torque, driven by a V6 with a 10,000 RPM redline and a Yasa E motor.

While we’ve seen bowling balls fly faster, this is the first time we’ve seen someone bowl a strike from a fast-moving car. Back in 2019, pro stock car driver Aric Almirola and pro bowler Jason Belmonte pulled off the fastest human-thrown strike while zooming around Charlotte Motor Speedway at 140 MPH.

This handbuilt, track-only edition of the Ford GT pulls out all the stops. Multimatic tuned the mid-mounted twin-turbo V6 to make over 800 hp and added a race suspension, an extended wheelbase, and a custom racing gearbox. Aero upgrades include a giant rear wing, overfenders, and smooth wheel covers. Just 67 will be built.

Joined by Supercross champ Jett Lawrence and pro skateboarder Zion Wright, they went toe-to-toe in the marsh in these crazy 900 hp amphibious race cars.

The climb to the top of the hill at the Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of the world’s most famous time trials. At the 2022 hill climb, a tiny experimental EV called the McMurtry Spéirling set a record of 39.08 seconds, in part due to the car’s innovative design, which uses fans to generate massive amounts of downforce.

The Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro is an insanely powerful race car with a 6.5-liter V12 engine that revs to 11,000 RPM and makes 1000 hp. Aerial Automotive shared this footage of the cars zooming around Laguna Seca Raceway and wowing gearheads with ear candy. He also shot some epic in-car footage. (Thanks, Nathan!)

Over the course of four years Benjamin Workshop created his dream car – a working replica of Ford’s Le Mans-winning GT40 race car. He’s posted numerous videos of the design, engineering, and build process, and now he’s condensed that all down to a 17-minute time-lapse. The finished car is truly a work of art.

UK custom car maker David Brown Automotive celebrates 60 years of Mini with this “remastered” version of the tiny car. It has a 1450 cc engine that makes 125 hp, racing brakes, and an updated interior with racing seats, harnesses, a roll cage, and more. Just 60 units of the car will be made in either right- or left-hand drive.

The 670hp Toyota TRD Camry Next Gen is the coolest Camry ever. It has a new 18″ wheels, a new transaxle, an independent rear suspension, a sealed underbody, and upgraded cooling. Safety upgrades include new roll bars, foam nose and tail inserts, and a more centered driver’s position. Coming to the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series.

Leading up to the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans race, Toyota’s Gazoo Racing took wraps off a badass street supercar built on the same hybrid drivetrain as its 1000hp TS050 LMP1 race car. They have plans to produce a limited number of cars for those with hefty bank accounts.

At the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, Toyota showed a concept car which serves as a preview of the return of the Supra, its powerful front engine, rear-wheel drive sports car. The racing version has lightweight aero upgrades, a giant wing, and a stripped-down cabin.

Infiniti is known for its modern and luxurious daily drivers. But they strayed far out of their comfort zone for this gorgeous concept, inspired by the streamlined racers of the 1930s. The lightweight single-seater is powered by an advanced electric powertrain.
