At E3 2013, we saw some epic blockbuster games and two new consoles. But our favorite game playable on the show floor was this goofy indie, starring a gangly octopus who struggles to perform even the most basic of tasks.

The Sony PS4 title Second Son takes place 7 years after the events in inFamous 2. Players will take on the role of Delsin, an ambitious young man who accidentally gains the power to control and transform into fire.

A PS4 exclusive from the vaunted Santa Monica Studio and Readyatdawn, The Order: 1886 is a steampunk action-adventure which places players in victorian-era England, with deadly firearms and deadlier foes.

An incredible tech demo developed by Quantic Dream, running entirely in real-time on Sony PS4 hardware. We saw it up close and personal, and they zoomed and moved around in the scene to prove it to us. Best watched in 1080p.

Sony’s new PlayStation could give the Xbox One a run for its money, with awesome next-gen graphics, a touchpad controller, sharing and social features, and no limitations on selling or buying used games. Plus, it’s $100 less. Pow!
