Awesome Pixel Art

Mauri Helme created a pixel perfect 16-bit style version of the opening titles of Mike Judge’s animated classic King of the Hill, complete with an appropriate chiptune theme song. We’d buy this video game in a heartbeat.

Artist Gerardo Quiroz aka “Kirokaze” creates incredible animated .gif pixel art which conveys a tremendous sense of mood, composition, depth, light and shadow, all with just a handful of frames. Be sure to check out his DeviantArt page for more examples.
