Awesome Metallica

Musician Banjo Guy Ollie decided to go with more of a rock and roll arrangement than Iron Horse did, but he also played the whole Metallica classic on bluegrass instruments including banjo and mandolin.

Mashup master Neil Cicierga managed to combine two of the most incompatible tunes – Hall and Oates I Can’t Go for That and Metallica’s Enter Sandman into a single track that’s just so bizarre that it’s actually brilliant.

Our fingers always got all tangled up when trying to play Enter Sandman on Rock Band, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem for the musicians of Iron Horse, who gave the Metallica classic a shiny coat of Bluegrass paint.

While we’ve had it up to here with movies being released in 3D for no good reason, we’re thinking that Metallica’s epic new concert film – which entwines a story about a roadie on a mission – will be well worth a watch in IMAX 3D.
