NeoGeofanatic shreds a rockin’ new version of Michael Sembello’s cheesetastic classic Maniac from the 1983 film Flashdance. We’re picturing Jennifer Beals welding and pouring a huge bucket of water over herself – not at the same time.

Musician Bill Ruppert demonstrates how to reproduce Vangelis’ epic theme music from Blade Runner using nothing more than an electric guitar and Electro-Harmonix‘ effect pedals. It’s the kettledrum part that really gets us.

This street musician shreds like you wouldn’t believe with a finger-blistering performance as his digits go flying across the frets and strings of his acoustic guitar. We’re impressed he doesn’t get his beard caught in the strings.

Dueling Banjos, the song made famous creepy in Deliverance, was meant to be played on two instruments, but Mark Kroos is an overachiever and plays both parts on his double-necked guitar.

South African guitar player Hannes Coetzee plays the spoons – but not in the way you’d expect. Instead of slapping utensils on his knee, he uses his teaspoon to slide-fret his guitar.
