Animator My Name Is Banks turned his world into a Terry Gilliam-esque play on the Mario Maker universe, filled with impossible levels, deadly obstacles, warp pipes galore, countless enemies, and music based on the theme and sounds from the game.

Jared D. Weiss’ fantastic animated short follows a creature and his dog who find a working old radio in the post-apocalyptic wasteland. Mike Westbrook’s haunting sound design perfectly complements its spare visuals to create a sense of tension and mystery.

(PG-13: Language) Paul “OtaKing” Johnson – the man behind the badass TIE Fighter – and Mashed made this short film about a gamer who gets sucked into the classic shoot ’em up R-Type. The dialogue is hot garbage, but Paul’s animation makes it worth watching.

A safe for work trailer for the star-studded and decidedly R-Rated animated comedy about anthropomorphic foods who learn the real truth behind their selection from the grocery store – a certain death in the stomachs of humans. It’s like an edible version of Toy Story.
