Back in 1979, the Alien in Alien wasn’t CGI, but portrayed by a lithe 6’10” Nigerian man named Bolaji Badejo. This footage shows just how creepy his moves could be, even in his underwear.

Originally shown at WonderCon, the latest trailer for Ridley Scott’s Prometheus shows even more flashes of madness and horrifying – or at least icky – imagery. Are those Facebursters?

Ridley Scott returns to science fiction, sending a team of explorers on a journey to discover the origins of mankind. Scott denies the film is an Alien prequel, but it takes place in the Alien universe.

Cartoonist Dan Hipp created a these Adventures of Tintin-inspired book covers as tributes to classic science fiction films lie Star Wars, Alien and Tron. We only wish these books were real.
