An unbelievably life-like take on Vader from Star Wars: A New Hope. It comes with 9 different hands and an LED-lit chest panel that activates Vader’s breathing sound effect. It will also come with an interrogation droid figure.

At the Toy Soul 2014 convention, Hot Toys unveiled the prototype of its 1:6 Scale Avengers: AoU Hulkbuster.  The 24″ tall toy has large light up parts and a weathered finish. Hot Toys also had a life-size statue of the suit.

Hot Toys’ 1:6 scale model of Tony Stark’s Avengers: Age of Ultron suit. It’s made of die-cast material with realistic metallic paint and weathered finish, 36 points of articulation and a detachable Ultron Mk. I diorama base.

An adorable 9″ tall vinyl figure of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Michelangelo, based on one of pop artist Mike Mitchell’s illustrations in his awesome Just Like Us series. We hope he makes a cheaper bobblehead version.

Animation studio A Large Evil Corporation has designed an ongoing series of vinyl toy mockups based on pop culture characters. Since they’ve gone viral, the studio is seriously considering turning them into actual figures.

Sideshow Collectibles’ Marvel 1/6 Scale Merc with a Mouth comes with 6 pairs of hands, 2 heads, 3 blades, 3 guns, and of course speech bubbles. The Sideshow exclusive also comes with a zombie head. Pre-orders start 9/25 for $230.

In 1979, a line of 3.75″ Alien action figures were developed but never manufactured. Super 7 used prototypes and reference materials to recreate those toys, with matching retro packaging to boot. More awesome figures coming soon.

For their Kenner-esque ReAction line, Funko is releasing a complete series of classic horror movie characters as 3.75″ tall action figures, including Jason Vorhees, Pinhead, Mike Meyers, and Freddie Krueger among others.

The Transformers 30th anniversary Tour Edition features Optimus Prime, Megatron, Soundwave and Smooth Jazz as members of a glam metal band called Knights of Unicron. No joke. Available at the 2014 SDCC, or as always, on eBay.

A limited-edition bundle from Nike and Hasbro, the Megatron Rises 3-pack pays homage to Detroit Lions WR Calvin “Megatron” Johnson. It has three shoes and a Megatron action figure. The shoes will also be sold separately.

Hot Toys will soon release these awesome 1/6th scale collectible action figures based on the silly Batman TV series from the 60s. Both action figures have 30 points of articulation and a variety of extra hands and props.

Custom action figures of Bill and Lance from Konami’s classic run and gun game Contra. They were made by John Harmon, who imagined what Stallone and Schwarzenegger would look like if they starred in a Contra movie in the 80s.
