It’s shaping up to be the movie event of 2015, loaded with everything we love about Mad Max: insane cars, explosive chases, crazy costumes, dust clouds, and a cast of utter whack-jobs. Sorry, Mel, but we’re pretty sure we won’t miss you.

Honest Trailers reminds us just how silly the concept was for what somehow became the most fun and popular movie of 2014. When you really think about it, the premise sounds like something that should have been a box office flop.
