A portable, unobtrusive and legal speed trap indicator. Instead of using radar, TrapTap uses location data and input from users to locate speed traps. It flashes red, green or blue depending on the zone or listed trap. You can add locations or turn it off by tapping on it.

Jay Leno shows off his 1989 Special Editions Ford Shogun. It’s a Ford Festiva modified to fit the Yamaha-made Taurus SHO V6 in the back. It weighs around 2200lb but has 220hp, which Jay boosts to over 300hp with nitro. Test drive at 15:25.

The top-of-the-line TT gets a new aluminum 5-cylinder engine which pushes out 400 hp, launching the Coupe to 62mph in 3.7s and the Roadster in 3.9s. All-wheel drive and a fixed rear wing are standard, and adaptive dampers and carbon ceramic brakes are available.

The fuel company turns its eye towards conservation, with the design of a city car that can get up to 107mpg (European). The diminutive 3-seater uses smart aerodynamics, lightweight materials and a low-friction engine design to minimize fuel consumption.

Dubai auto shop NSV shows off its 6×6 Toyota 70 Series Land Cruiser. A collaboration with 4×4 and 6×6 conversion specialist Multidrive, this homely pack mule has a 398hp 4L V6 and an active third axle.

Aston Martin is making just 150 of this special Vantage, drawing inspiration from the V8 Vantage GTE race car. The 446hp GT8 cuts weight by about 220lb. using an ample dose of carbon fiber and other tweaks, and improves grip and downforce with lots of aero bits.

Motor Trend’s Ignition takes the new BMW M2 Coupe out on the track and on the road to see if it can recreate the magic of the 1M. Despite gripes about the manual’s rev-matching feature, and a few cost-cutting measures, they find that it’s a fun car worthy of the M badge.

Hennessey celebrated its 25th anniversary by having its Venom GT Spyder set a new world speed record for an open-top sports car: a blistering 265.6mph, besting the previous record set by the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse by more than 11mph.

Bruiser Conversions turns Jeep Wranglers into monstrous off-road pick up trucks that they call the JK Crew. Each build varies in specs, and this particular unit’s already been sold, but the shop can fit it with custom suspension, bumper, tube doors and more.
