There’s little question that EVs reduce carbon emissions, but they’re not as convenient to fill up as gas-powered vehicles. Tom Scott headed to Germany to check out an power solution that sends electricity to trucks via overhead wires like a tram. A hybrid powertrain takes over when changing lanes or exiting highways.

The 2022 Range Rover brings new levels of luxury, performance, and tech. The SUV has a graceful new form and is driven by a 395 hp hybrid turbo I6 or 523 hp turbo V8, with a 434 hp PHEV in 2023. All-wheel steering improves stability and turning, while headrest speakers and noise-canceling help create the perfect sanctuary.

Chevy took the mid-engine Corvette and cranked it up to 11. The Z06 gets a race car-inspired V8 with a flat-plane crank, with 670 hp and an 8600 RPM redline. It does 0-to-60 in 2.6 seconds, has wider wheels and fenders than Stingray, and the Z07 package adds aero upgrades, carbon-ceramic brakes, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

To give their old workshop a proper send-off, Hoonigan sent off-road champ RJ Anderson into the streets and sand of Long Beach, California in their modded Polaris RZR Pro R and let him run wild. Along the way, he showed off the UTV’s ample suspension by jumping over a highway and two-wheeling it through a garage.

Japanese company ICOMA has created an electric moped that folds down into a package that can be carried and stored under a desk or in a closet. It measures just 27.5″ x 26.7″ x 10″ when folded, but opens up to roughly double that size for riding. Its Li-Po battery provides up to 31 miles of range, with a top speed of 25 mph.

Corso Concepts’ single-passenger reverse trike is a track day beast. It has a steel roll cage and carbon composite shell, and a curb weight of just 1,000 pounds. Overland in comfort and ease thanks to this fully-prepped camper from Colorado’s Supertramp. The 1200 lb. module sits in the bed of your pickup and uses electric actuators to open in 10 seconds. The unit adds a kitchenette with a sink, stove and fridge, a queen-size sleep area, a hidden toilet, and an optional indoor shower.
