A street-legal version of the Touareg 3, the Race Touareg 3 has a 300-hp 2.5L TDI engine. Has 18-in wheels with gold finish, Recaro bucket seats and safety cage. Goes from 0-60mph in less than 6s.

The V8 Vantage S has a 4.7L 430hp engine, a 7-speed transmission, paddle shifters and 19-in wheels. Also has a carbon fiber lower front bumper with a larger air intake for the engine and brakes.

Volkswagen says their XL1 diesel hybrid gets more than 260 miles to the gallon with top speed of 100 mph, thanks to the 2 cylinder turbodiesel displacing 800 cc and a battery powered electric motor.

With 46″ tires and a Cat C7 diesel engine, the EcoRoamer’s size belies its sophistication; it uses a NASA-designed water-purifying system and pumps out a 0.8 mile wide WiFi signal. (Thanks Philip!)

This three-wheeler combines a 1000cc Suzuki V-Twin engine with a sit-down cockpit. While it’s reminiscent of early race cars, it’s decidedly modern in execution. 3 were produced in 2005.

John Lennon’s first car, a 1965 Ferrari 330GT, is being auctioned. After he passed his driver’s test, car dealers literally lined up their cars outside his house. Lennon bought it for about $2,800.

With a curb weight of just about 1200 pounds, and a 305hp supercharged Ford Duratec 2.0L engine, it’s no wonder this British racer can hit 0-60 in 2.8 seconds, and a top speed of 180mph.

To celebrate the Atom’s 10th anniversary, Ariel teamed up with Mugen to create the Atom Mugen. The super-lightweight car has a 270hp Honda K20Z Type R engine, allowing it to go from 0-60 in 2.9s.

The Sierra All Terrain HD concept has a 6.6L V8 engine that delivers 397hp and 765 lb.ft. of torque. Its suspension has been beefed up, it has 35in tires and is wider and taller than the original Sierra HD.

Honda recently unveiled their Civic sedan and Civic Si coupe concepts. Aside from a natural gas model, the Civic Si will also have a hybrid model, which will have Li-ion batteries alongside a 1.5L engine.

West Coast Customs pimped out an Audi R8, giving it a Tron-themed makeover to promote Monster’s line of Tron audio gear. We’re not sure why they made it chrome instead of just black though.

You wouldn’t know it by its polished looks, but the F500 Mind is only used for testing new features. It has cameras and recording gear, and its switches, buttons and pedals have unusual features.

Peak Adventures are selling their trusty Vancat, a hauler made from an unlikely combination of a Dodge Ram body and a 391hp Ford V8 engine. Its Hans Hall aluminum tracks are still in top shape.
